CNSPEED Front Bumper Tow Hook License Plate Mount Relocator Bracket Mounting Bolt Adapter Kit for Subaru BRZ WRX Crossbrek Forester Toyota 86 Prius Scion FR-S (Thread M16 x 1.5)

Installed the CNSPEED front bumper tow hook license plate mount on my Impreza RS, and it worked perfectly. Tightened down easily, and the locking nuts on the plate bolts are a nice touch. Looks cleaner and more solid than the stock center mount—definitely an upgrade in both form and function.

Mount is pretty sturdy. No wiggle on the bar. Hardware was great, hex screws with lock nuts (Hex keys provided). Dose not come with instructions, but the mounting was pretty self-explanatory. You are able to swivel left and right if you want your plate to contour more or less to your front bumper. If you are curious about the tow hook cover, I bought an OEM cover from Subaru ($11+ tax), drilled the hole in the center and slid it over the Hex extension.

This is probably one of the best of the cheaper license plate relocation kits for Subaru vehicles. It fits the 2022 WRX even without the extra spacer nut. The back plate is thick, solid, and difficult to bend. There's some leftover hardware, such as nuts and bolts, that do not apply to the kit. Unfortunately, the kit itself is lacking a few pieces of hardware that prevent me from giving it a five star review, but a quick visit to your hardware store fixes this. 1. It desperately needs a star lock washer for between the arc slide bracket and the long bolt adapter. If you do nothing else, add this to the kit. 2. It needs lock washers for the two bolts holding the arc slide bracket to the license plate bracket and the bolt holding the arc slide bracket to the long bolt adapter. 3. It needs some flat washers and lock washers for the license plate screws. 4. It needs a tiny tube of low strength thread locker for all threaded connections.

As other reviewers have said, this kit doesn’t come with instructions. But if youve installed a tow hook license plate bracket before you’ll have no trouble. Or do a quick internet search for some general instructions. The kit is very adjustable. You can adjust the angle of the bracket however you like. You can also mount the bracket at different positions to get the height you like. The plate bolts are not long enough to accommodate a license plate frame. You will need longer nuts if you want to mount a frame. If this is your first tow hook plate mount, security is most important. Tighten everything as much as possible without stripping or breaking hardware. Losing a plate or causing damage to your car, or someone else’s car, for the sake of aesthetics isn’t worth it.

Other than the instructions complaint that everyone else has, I would also like to mention that this bracket does not cover the entirety of the license plate. For example, this seems to be an issue when going through a car wash. I've tested on 3 different car washes over the last 4 months and found that each one will bend your license plate (since there's no backplate where your plate is bending). Overall the product works if you figure out how to install correctly (I used loctite), but the car wash situation is one thing to call out as an issue.

Not put together well.

This license plate bracket was recommended by the sales team where I purchased my 2025 Outback Wilderness. The bracket attaches into the tow hook receptacle on either side of the bumper. You remove the "plug" panel that covers the tow hook area. It is easy to assemble and fits perfectly. Amazon reflected this would not fit the 2025 Outback but they were wrong. By using this bracket you can avoid putting holes in to front bumper cladding. Because it is offset from center it also gives more of a sporty look.

Great alternative to drilling the bumper. Perfect size doesn't come lose or turn even at high speeds. Looks great. Quality material
