Recommended by pros - Like the Right Angle - Would like a Right Angle on the other end - Reliable
I have taken the recommendation of the photo big dogs am and using these cables. One is with a USB pc and the other with a USB C pc. I really like the right angle connection. The point where the cable meets the plug is vulnerable to breakage if it is wiggled around to much. The right angle gets rid of most foozling around with the plug. When I am taking photos of hummingbirds (for example) it is not the time to have a cable fail. Those little birds won't stand still so I can pull out another cable and try again! Good Product

Does not Tether!!
Nikon Z8 firm 2.01, Mac OS 15 on M1Pro MBP, Lightroom Classic 14.0 With the release of LrC 14 today, the Nikon Z8 tethers again. Unfortunately it does not tether with this cable. I have tested with other cables and tethering the Z8 works fine in LrC, Nikon NX Capture, and Capture One Pro with other cables. It is possible that the cable I received is defective, but I have heard of a similar problem from another photographer so I am skeptical. This version is black and has the right angle on one end and straight connector on the other, USBc on both ends.

Another great tether cable from Tether Tools.
Not much to say other than it worked just as it should. The 90* angle makes it much easier to get really close to door frames when trying to maximize the view of a room when shooting architecture. I used this in conjunction with a Arca compatible two cable pass thru tripod plate that also helped with cameral placement.

The best cables you can buy
I have never had a tether tools cable go bad. I have a ton of them from old cameras that still work great. This is the first 90 degree cable I have bought and it is still high quality. Take care of the cables, store appropriately, and use a tether jerk stopper and your cable will last a long time.

Heavy and stiff. Stresses USB port more than any other
Absolutely not worth it. You need some kind of strain relief (ooh look, they sell you the solution to the problem they created!) Has a "memory" and never straightens out. Always has a curl. Zero improvement in data transfer over a decent anker cable. I regret this purchase.

Constant Connection Issues
This is my second tether cord and I have constant connection issues, it's very frustrating. The cord is also awkward and heavy and seems to be putting physical stress issues on the camera and computer, which is causing the connection issues.
