I normally do not write reviews for products I have ordered but I have too on this one. Summer has hit us hard this year and our electric bill keeps getting higher and higher. the Texas heat is brutal and sometimes it lasts well into November. I have had to have my AC unit recharged once already because it kept running and running. Our AC guy suggested that I put some shade in the yard to keep the AC from running too much. I really could not explain why he said this but I took his advice. My AC unit sits in the corner of my home and gets full sun from 8 am to 6 pm. We have no shade tree at all and I refused to place a patio umbrella over it. I read the specs and what sold me on it was the protection from the suns rays. It took me about an hour and some change to set it up. I bought a 20 x 20 and it fit perfect in my 40 x 20 patio garden. It shaded the AC unit but i did not cover over it. This morning I got up and it was cold in my house with the thermostat set at 74 degrees. My AC doesn't run all the time as before and sitting under the shade cloth feels like the sun isn't even able to penetrate the fabric. I just feel the "cool" heat surrounding me. I used HyperTough paracord and STOREHOUSESelf-Gripping Hangers to set it up. In the winter all I have to do is roll it up and tuck it under my carport until next summer. It was worth every penny buying this product and now all I have to do it watch it dance when the breezes flow through. Spend the money and you too will wish you got it sooner. P.S. Notice how the sun is bearing down outside the shade and yes my yard needs a serious cleaning!

We pur. We purhased this garden to tarp because our neighbors have a mulberry tree, which drops thousands of mulberries all over our yard. The mulberries have to be picked up because they are messy and our dog, as well as the birds eat them. It causes the dog to have stomach issues. They also stain your shoes and clothes. The tarp worked perfectly. We were able to catch the berries and shake the tarp out into the trash. The tarp also did not kill the grass underneath. It was on the ground for weeks and when we finally were able to permanently remove it, the grass underneath was a bit yellowed, but not much. It allows the rain and some sun to get through. It saved our sanity and our summer.

It works really well. Made well and strong. I LOVE the fact that it has grommets all around. Makes it so much easier when attaching. I noticed a significant change in temperature when I walked into our garden "tent". Quite a bit cooler. We will be buying another one shortly for another area. Highly recommend.
