Great value for some extra grip on your joy-cons. Nintendo pro controllers are great, but if you have them or not, this is a perfect option to have a little extra grip for yourself or when you’ve got more friends over for a multiplayer game. :-) These are also good for younger kids with smaller hands that may not be comfortable with larger controllers. On that note, holding a joy-con grip horizontally is great for really small hands if you want to let a young kid (3-6 years old) try a Mario game. These are nice for a 6-9 year old. 10 and up might fit a full size controller best. That’s a nice way to think about “stepping up” through different sizes for best comfort at different ages.

When you take the joy cons off the Switch console they are flimsy and small so are hard to control very well. This adapter allows them to click in and they fit very snuggly and work extremely well. There are top clickers that hit the shoulder buttons that are otherwise so small on the joy cons once they are out of the switch console itself. My son has small hands and when he was trying to play with JUST the joy cons he would flip them the wrong way upside down, so these adapters were great as they click into them and then he would hold it properly. Very nice item and arrived fast even during the Christmas holiday season!

These are exactly what I expected them to be. They hold the joy cons very securely and seem very sturdy. They are more comfortable to hold than just the joy cons alone. The top buttons are responsive. I only wish there was a way to make the grip positioned so the reach from the handle to the analog stick or buttons wasn’t so far. It doesn’t take very long for my thumb to be in pain from stretching across the controller. I think that this is more an issue with the joy con itself though, I’m not sure how the grips could be redesigned to correct this, but is someone figures out a way I will definitely buy it!!

I was skeptical at first after reading mixed reviews... BUT these are so worth the buy. First the color matching is ridiculously accurate. I figured with a third party maker it would be slightly off... i was 100% wrong. Both colors are spot on to the joycons. They are a nice and comfortable controller and the L/R buttons work perfectly! These are great for people with big hands such as myself. Makes the whole idea of a joycon collection more fun and desirable. I am definitely going to get the red and blue ones soon!

These grips are the ones you want, if you intend to play 4-player Mario Kart or just split a Joy-Con set into 2-player mode for another game. Both included grips fit either the left or right Joy-Con snugly and do not damage the controllers. To me, the two most important aspects of these grips are comfort and the shoulder buttons. These are sturdy. They feel dense and capable of withstanding long play sessions and years of use. On to the shoulder buttons. Look at the picture of these grips. See how the outer edges of the shoulder buttons raise up compared to the inner side of the buttons? These are the ones you want. I say that because these grips are actually made by "Dobe." And this company sells these grips like the ones pictured here and they also sell grips where the shoulder buttons are flat. BEWARE of the flat shoulder buttons; you can see them in other pictures sold by other offerings on this website. I used a pair of the flat type and they are awful and mushy and frankly do not work. The ones pictured here are what you want. They are responsive and feel springy. Buy now!
