Put them on my workin boots and they are fantastic I love them so much for the feel and quality I’ve been working in these for months and they save my heels of my boots from wearing away and they also have a very nice click when walking

These taps are very good quality, the only problem is the screws given to install them. They screws have a tendency for the heads to strip out.

Product was what I expected.

Watch a couple YouTube videos before trying this, or better yet take the plate to your local cobbler and see how much they will charge to do it. This really works best for newer shoes, as you can see in the photo, mine are almost worn down and I added these to extend the life, not worth taking to the cobbler. Had to sand it down a bit to make the heel flat. The plate fitment is actually really great on shoes size 8.5-10. The screws are terrible, very soft. I pre drilled the holes and carefully put in the screws. I hammered a couple down and filed the heads because they either bent or the head stripped. Still, works fine. I recommend getting your own nails and don’t use these screws. The plate works well and are sturdy, not bending after a few weeks of use. This was a cheap solution to prolonging these somewhat cheap shoes. I have a few extra pairs of plates and I might add these to any new shoes I get, of course I’ll use my own nails next time. Be careful where you walk. If you stomp on a tile it could possibly scratch or even crack it. Sorry for the poor photo, it looks a lot better in person.

Absolutely do not buy this product.l!!!!!!!! I chose one star because I had no choice. The screws will not go deep enough because the holes in the plate are not deep enough. What happens is that no matter how hard you try the screwheads stick out above the plates. What happens then is that this causes serious scaring damage on any type of wood floor, including engineered flooring. Do not buy these under any circumstances. You will be very, very sorry that the flooring in your home has deep scratchs that are not repairable. Dr. Mark

The heel plates are very thin did not hold up well . Otherwise they work great Only lasted a month and a half very costly to have to keep replace them so sone

It sounds like you from wearing out cuz I do a lot of weight on the back of my heels so it makes me have to buy a new one and this helps them last longer
