Adrian, you are correct. I ordered and installed this part for my LG WT4970CW as a replacement for p/n 5221EA1008F (illustration A180 in the parts diagram) and it is NOT a proper replacement. The valve for the beach cycle does NOT have a flow restrictor so it floods the bleach tray, pumping far more water than the Pythagorean siphon can handle requiring the overflow to help drain it. The enormous amount of water drains onto the tub cover assembly which is also quickly overwhelmed and the water/bleach mixture spills off the outside of the tub and onto the floor.

How do I disconnect the bleach valve so I can use this until the legitimate part I ordered arrives?

You can disconnect the bleach valve by unplugging the far left valve if your facing the front if washer. It wont hurt a thing. Put some electrical tape over the open end of the plug on each side to play it safe. The  5 plugs are all wired together with the neutral but since its the last plug, it will not affect any of the other valves.  I happen to have an LG with that exact valve, and the bleach dispenser clogs up all the time causing it to overflow. So that’s exactly what I did with mine. All the other valves work perfectly fine. If you’re not comfortable doing that, take a flat head screwdriver and put it underneath the solenoid of the last valve and gently pry up on it. The solenoid should come off the valve. Some of the manufactures put a little cap located on top of the solenoid in the center. It makes it easier if you pop that little cap off first. I work on appliances for a living so I remove solenoids that are still good from valves all the time. And leave the solenoid plugged in and wrap it up. Good with some electrical tape to play it safe. Set it off to the side somewhere.
