The model kit was as stated. The pieces were clean.

This is a highly useful kit primarily because the contents differ from the box art, which implies the women’s outfits are far more suggestive than they really are. As such, the two women figures can be easily incorporated into average civilian scenes that run the gamut for modern applications. Moreover, they can be coupled with civilian men figures to arrive at vignettes and dioramas spanning a host of themes and settings. As for the other three figures, the two Americans offer a nice break from soldiers modeled in only combat outfits. The Vietnamese soldier is also a welcomed addition to the soldiers that more times than not are more frequently Caucasian American service personnel.

Apologies for my amateur figure painting, but kits like these are great for telling a story not of battle, but everyday life in country.

I’m actually surprised at the quality of these Master Box models. Very nice detail and clean molds, I’m impressed and will be buying more for sure.

Gute Qualität.

Wieder ein sehr schöner Modellbausatz von Masterbox.Die teile sind sehr gut und man muss nur wenig spachteln und schleifen.Man kann hier eine Szene die irgendwo in Saigon oder auch in hué ,wie in dem film full metal jacket ,nachstellen . Masterbox stellt insgesamt gute Bausätze her.die Vietnam series könnte noch ein paar Neuheiten gebrauchen ,wie zum Beispiel vietcong`s oder Huey Crew und soweiter. das wäre doch mal was. aber zum schluss hab ich doch noch was zu meckern . die Aufnäher für die gi's fehlen .:-/..ist zwar kein produktionsfehler,da eh keine mitgeschickt werden aber das könnte man ändern.die Rangabzeichen und so weiter sind nur sehr schwer mit dem pinsel darzustellen und sieht dann meist sch.... aus. ich hätte mich jedenfalls über paar abzeichen wahnsinnig gefreut :-)
