These have been the BEST purchase I have made for my scooter in a long time! My scooter's top speed was around 57 to 58 mph with okay acceleration, and then I installed a big bore kit which increased my torque like crazy, but my top speed didn't increase at all, so I was a little disappointed, but knew there were a few more changes I could make. I bought some different roller weights with a little increase to acceleration but still not much top speed increase. I bought a few different weights of these Glixal sliders so I could figure out which weight works best for my bike because sliders aren't a direct equivalence to rollers by weight. I started with the 14g and when that did not meet my expectations, I increased to the 15 gram sliders. When I put these in, the first few runs were an instant change! Then on my way to work I got on the highway and hit my old top speed (58 mph) going uphill! Downhill I got up to 64 mph!! I was so excited! I was able to consistently hit 60/61 mph pretty easily on a straight road, getting up to 64 whenever I was going downhill. If you're on the fence about these, just do it! They're affordable and the gains you will get once you find the proper weight are insane and DEFINITELY worth it! If you are going from Rollers to Sliders, go up about a half gram and that should be good. (My peak power was found with 14.5g rollers vs 15g sliders). Sliders will give you way more acceleration and top speed than rollers, though! The correct installation will be with the Glixal logo & gram facing up in your variator with the highest point of the slider towards the middle of the variator.

Haven’t had a lot of ride time with them yet but definitely felt the difference. Takes more rpm to launch. 13g on a 150cc gy6 scooter. I hope it makes more top speed.
