Needed a new radio for our boat, this one seemed like a good budget with good reviews. After installing it, I could see why the reviews were so good. This radio was simple to install and had everything you could need. It feels like it is built out of good quality. Blue tooth has good range. It automatically pairs to your phone when the boat is turned on. The speakers that came With it I did not need. After plugging them in I could tell a difference in the quality and ended up using those.

This is a great combo that really worth the money, obviously you won't get a professional sound but for 50 bucks what are you waiting for? If you want a piece of ambient sound when you're boating, with no doubt this is what you need

Ok the reviews about it not turning on. The first time it powers on you have to cick the on button a few times and it will turn on. This radio is ok for a boat that is used on the lake then stored in a garage. It's water resistant for light right. But if you leave your boat outside for a few rain storms, you will get water inside the screen. It doesn't seem to mess with the performance just the screen.

It's only been installed a couple of weeks, so I can't speak to longevity. But for $60ish dollars, it's a great unit. Receiver is well worth the price by itself - the speakers are fairly meh but it's hard to be too judgmental given the price point. I was replacing some 15 year old Kenworths which were blown and weather beaten all the hell - well, as it happens, they still sounded better with the new receiver than the new ones do. Slight bummer there. But, really, it's unfair to expect a $60 radio & speaker set to sound like a speaker that costs $30-40 by itself. And the included speakers work just fine. I suspect the unit is not very water proof - luckily I already had a weathertight cover that closes securely over the receiver from the old unit. I would strongly recommend getting one as it is not included in the kit and if the radio is exposed to the elements, I have little doubt it would die almost instantly. If it is mounted into some sort of cabinet, I assume it would be fine. The remote is a nice touch. I thought it silly at first but as it happens, it makes it much easier to adjust the radio without having to pop open the weather proof cover.

They named it right because it is a pile of crap.Don't buy this radio. It's absolutely junk. Reset button keeps tripping. Pure garbage

Nice little stereo easy to install speaker quality could be better but for the price you get what you got I would recommend it.
