SPX0714BA Key Cover and Handle Assembly，Compatible with Hayward Multi-Port Valves Model SP0714T,Also Compatible with Pro Series Side and top Mount Sand Filter Models S210S, S220T2

Installed three days ago and fits/performs perfectly in replacing the Hayward Vari-Flo SP0174T. I lubed the spider gasket, O-Rings on the shaft, and large top O-Ring. Can’t comment on quality, but it definitely fits. Time will tell. Past couple years I’ve had sand on pool floor. I’d vacuum, then next day there would be sand. Along with that, this year I started losing water through the backwash hose. Clearly, gaskets/O-rings were bad. Problems solved. I plan on lubing it yearly at beginning of each season. It’s easy, just remove the six bolts, lube, put back on. This review is mainly for people wondering if it fits their system. My manual is for Hayward Vari-Flo XL models SP0174TC, SP0174TE, and SP0174T. My sand filter is S166T.

Had to replace the multi-port key assembly when I opened the pool last year. This one cost significantly less than the name brand it replaced, and it came with the necessary gaskets / seals, which the name brand didn't include. Now in its second season of service, it has worked flawlessly - and it was so easy to perform the change myself. Not sure what my pool company would have charged, but this is a super easy DIY replacement.

Works perfect and super easy to install!

It fits together nicely and easily on my 15 year old Hayward valve. No leakage at all around the seam. It moves so smoothly in clockwise rotation and locks into place smoothly. We’re very satisfied with this replacement part.

My prior multi port valve had gotten extremely hard to turn and water had started to lightly flow after the backwash process I notice. Doing some research lead me to the replacement of such. Reading the reviews it seemed to be a simple fix so I took on the challenge and took less than 10mins to replace. Fit was perfect and works like a charm. Hopefully it will last many of years but I did grab some coverage JUST INCASE

So far it works just like the original. Had it now for several months so I think it's safe to say I'd recommend!
