Emergency Food Ration Bars Chocolate Flavor

These taste like really crunchy, not as sweet, peanut butter cookies. A little dry, but a good product. Tried some on a recent camping trip, well sealed, good with coffee, and made a nice breakfast. I will definitely buy again!

I bought this for thru hiking, and I'm mentally prepared for the taste given it's emergency food. But to my surprise it actually taste pretty good. The texture is like a denser scone. And flavor is savory but not salty. Overall I don't even need to drink much water to finish one bar. This is good enough to replace all energy bar on the market.

Taste is good but maybe it is not gluten free. In the first look, I thought the potion is too small but it is good enough amount for a meal. Strong peanut butter taste with cookie but overall taste is good. However, after eating this I have a little bit stomach uncomfortablenss. I might think it is not a gluten free so it happened.

Eat with water, coffee, or tea. Very dry but a little goes a long way, compact and pretty much impervious to outside elements. Truly an emergency food, you'll be happy to have it when everything else is gone.

Well the texture is pretty much like chalky peanut dust and as dry as the Sahara desert 🏜️ about the size of a credit card. Definitely peanuty flavor. This is the first time I’ve purchased this type of product but the quality looks great overall. I’ll have to check out the coconut flavor ones next.

Tightly individually wrapped energy bars. They came in a nice metal container that unfortunately is wide open on the top with the lid missing. Consequently, a sealed container will need to be acquired for long term storage to prevent any compromise of the food by mice or other varmints. Note: As an addendum to the initial review, after making note of the initial packaging deficiency to Amazon, a replacement was immediately sent and arrived in tact, so all is good.

Tins were slightly dented from the shipping process but it has no effect of the product inside. I plan on opening one var just to try it. But I know what these products taste like for the most part. They arent meant to be gourmet but help you to survive. Overall I like the tin. It makes storage and transporting easier

These appear to be a good buy. I tried one of them. As should be for a "survival ration" it tastes OK but not super delicious. This was the philosophy behind the "D Ration" "chocolate" bar of WWII. Any basic survival food should not taste like candy or it would be consumed too quickly. I found the taste slightly chocolate and the texture of a cracker. Each one is well package so you could throw a couple in a vehicle for emergencies. More than enough calories. This buy is a box of individually package bars which easily split into two bars per individual package. I consider it a good buy. The only possible negative is "made in China". I hope their quality control was good.

I opened one of these to see what it was like. It has a mild chocolate flavour that I didn't dislike at all but it wasn't something that I'd want to scoff either. Exactly what I would want in an emergency food. The pack has 12 vacuum foil packs and each has 2 bars in clear plastic. Total weight is 1.6 kg. It's very compact at about the same size as a kilo of flour, about 18cm x 12cm x 12cm. I bought it on a deal so it worked out about $16/kg, which is about the same as a lot of packs of cereal. For me it's just great to have something very shelf stable to keep in the car or a bag or whatever for times when you might need it.

Molto buone, sono rimasta sorpresa. Arrivate perfette, scatola a parte, forse l'hanno un po' demolita alla dogana. Saziano, si potrebbero portare in giro tranquillamente ma si sbriciolano troppo. Non me le porterei in campeggio o escursioni. Come cibo di emergenza a casa sì ma ci sono diverse alternative
