Are these switches dimmable

I don't think so. From the functions I get from Alexa , home "Google " ,smart life. The dimming function is not their.

Do I need to mess with wires? Don't like messing with wiring, so not sure if I would need an electrician to install?

There are two wires on the existing switch which will need connecting to the new switch. You will also need a deeper box as the new switch is deeper than a standard switch, if the switch box is sunk into the wall you will need a spacer

I love the device but Is there a way to stop the bright blue wifi light on the switch as it is very bright for the bedroom?

Yes. you can turn the backlight off in the Smart Life/Tuya settings. Enter the Smart Life app, click on the light/light switch you want to change, click on settings, then you should find a setting labelled 'Backlight switch'. Turn this off and the light switch will go dark. You can also access this setting by setting up a scene. I have all the smart switches in my bedroom set to turn their backlights off at midnight and turn back on at 6am so my bedroom is completely dark when I'm trying to sleep.
