I tried 3 other cases before settling with this. The other threes were a Fintie case with the folding cover, another folio case with the flat cover, a tpu cover without a pen holder. The folio case or the fintie case were too heavy. The TPU case was light weight but my pen had nowhere to go and the pen cutout was in a wrong place - I guess it was cut for tab s7 not tab s8. I have a s8. Also, I had to use a stand to watch something. I thought I would be OK with that but I realized that I was missing the ability to just stand it whenever I want.I was worried about this case being bulky with the kickstand upon placing the order. But when I opened it, it was surprisingly light weight. The kickstand was protruded. I write a lot on tab s8, so I thought it won't balance with the kickstand in the middle but it has little legs on each corner to keep it completely stable and leveled. Also, compared to the other tpu case, the tpu on this case is a tad bit thicker and more rigid which makes it feel good in the hands and it doesn't look cheap. All in all, I love it. The best quality among all the cases I tried. I am gonna stop my search here.

Case is well made, not floppy like a lot of clear TPU cases. Fits snug as well so tolerances are basically ideal. Stand on the back is cool, but I'm worried about it's durability so I probably won't use it unless I'm on a pretty stable surface

Bought it for my Tab S8 Plus. I was just looking for a case that covers the corner and that actually fits. Please do yourself a favor and spend a little money on a case, the $10 ones I bought are just pure garbage, in terms of functionality and fit and packaging itself is a night & day different. The case fits really well and covers all the corners to almost perfection, works well with my temper glass installed; doesn't cause any interference. I mainly just use the tab for media consumption, so the extra slot for the pen is not needed but it does hold the s-pen in place. The kickstand is a bonus, is holds the tablet in place but note that is not going to be that sturdy as you would like.

This case works great with flat surfaces such as countertops, tables, etc. The only problem is, that the kickstand is too narrow, so when placed on anything other than a flat surface it is guaranteed to topple over. This makes it hard to rate it anything over 3 stars, heck I don't even think that it earns the 3 stars. The pen holder and bumpers added to the edges of the case definitely save it from being a 2-star review. In addition, the kickstand will constantly detach from the rails that hold it in place. It's an easy fix, but it is rather annoying and I don't think that it should be a burden placed on the consumer. The kickstand should be able to stay attached. The only reason I would recommend is because there isn't any other case like it on Amazon, otherwise, I would imagine it would be very easy to make a revised version of this.

The media could not be loaded. All cutouts are functioning and the stylus can be stored in the front which is extremely convenient the back has a cutout to charge the stylus while in kickstand use. The kickstand does come out but stretching the sides can be put back in place. No issues with the buttons. I have a screen protector as there is not much protection for the screen it does have a bit of a lip around the screen. My tablet has fell twice off the bed and luckily has not cracked or scratched I am using a Sparin Tempered Glass screen protector. I enjoy it being transparent and showcasing the tablet. Its a nice looking case just wish the kickstand did not come out of place and that the lip around the screen was thicker otherwise I would have given it 5 stars

It's a good cover and I was just looking for something quick to protect my new S8 Ultra and one that I could stand up so the pen could sit on the back to charge.Its lightweight, works will for portrait mode.Sturdiness, I'm not so sure. The stand just a piece of lightweight plastic. Only issue I've had with it so far is the kick stand going back into place. I really have to push down on it to get it to lock into place if I'm using it in landscape mode.Overall, it's a good case, but not sure that $20 is the right price for this. It's a simple tpu case with a kickstand.If I have issues with the case down the line, I'll update this review.

Best tablet case ever. The built in stand is fantastic and I never need to carry around an additional stand or support for this. They changed the design from the photos and added two more fold-out tabs. One tab gives the nearly vertical angle which is good if your lying in bed. The other tab gives a very low angle of like 5° on a tabletop. Between that and the 30° angle you have a couple of solid positions ideal for using the pen and drawing and writing.I have a similar case on a tab S7 Plus. It was pretty good but didn't have the low angles like this one is capable of.I'm attaching photos of how I modded the S7 plus case. These cases don't allow you to stand up the tablet in portrait mode. By adding the shown piece of clear flat plastic, it enables two different angles in portrait mode and still folds flat. Maybe someone from this company will see this photo and introduce this simple modification.

October 2022 update - went from 5 stars to 1 star. I've come back to update my review because unfortunately the kickstand has broken. I'm very sad because this was a very good case. Can't believe it only lasted 4 months :(July 2022 - Love the lightweight protection this case adds, I've dropped my tablet a few times and it has not gotten damaged. The pen holder is wonderful. The kickstand is also very useful. however, because the kickstand is so narrow, it's very easy to topple over. If the kickstand was just a bit wider, or if it held the tablet at a more upright angle, I'd give 500 stars.
