NOT WORTH YOUR TIME & FRUSTRATION - CAMERA DOES NOT WORK AND CUSTOMER SERVICE IS NON-EXISTENT
My organization purchased the Poly Studio X70 with high expectations of it being the ideal conference room solution. Unfortunately, the experience has been nothing but disappointing. The initial setup went smoothly, but shortly afterward the unit performed a firmware update — and that’s when the problems began. Following the update, the integrated camera no longer appeared in the Device Management section of the web console. Based on what I’ve seen, it seems the camera firmware (which is separate from the bar) did not update correctly. Since then, I’ve tried nearly every troubleshooting step possible: multiple factory resets, calls to HP’s Poly support, reading HP Community posts (many referencing the same unresolved issue), contacting Amazon technical support, reaching out to the seller, and even attempting manual driver updates through Microsoft Device Manager. Nothing has resolved the problem. What’s been most frustrating is the lack of support. HP’s customer service repeatedly transferred me and ultimately hung up. The HP Community posts contain no official solutions, and the seller has not responded to my messages after several days. At this point, I strongly advise against purchasing the Poly Studio X70. The device has proven unreliable, and the support behind it has been unhelpful. Save yourself the time and frustration.

Exactly what we needed
We've used the Poly X50 and X70 video bars at our business for several years now, and we've been impressed with the clarity of the camera and the sound. The TX8 controller is a nice touch, and we've integrated the units into our calendar and that works great. Ours are generally set up for Teams meetings, but they convert to Zoom meetings fairly quickly (our users let us know what they want) This is our go-to solution for our medium-sized (10-16) conference rooms, and we often pair these with the Poly Table Expansion Microphone which sits at the table.

Never Received!!
Second time ordered; second time not delivered but said it was. Fortunately, we were credited for both as they are very pricey!

Bait and switch
I ordered a NEW one of these cameras for $6k and the day I received the item I noticed on my orders page that the price went down $2k. Come to find out somehow I was shipped a USED-LIKE NEW item that I did not order. Thankfully I was refunded the cost and placed another order for the NEW item. Hopefully this doesn't happen again!

No refund for product
Make sure that this is what you want. There is no refund for this item from Poly, so the vendor cannot refund you either. Products works okay but there are alternatives that are less expensive.
