Fillable Hourglass Timer, Black Wooden Frame Decorative Sand Timer (Empty Hourglass, Large Size)

I Specifically bought this "Do It Yourself" Fillable Hourglass to make A Large Glow In The Dark Hourglass! AND.....IT WORKED OUT BEAUTIFULLY!!!! You can either mix glow in the dark colored powder of Your Choice with Same Colored Regular Sand (So, both colors Match one another when Not glowing). Or, you can use glow in the dark sand powder Completely! I chose to Mix mine and didn't care about the "Time Accuracy" since this is strictly used as a conversation piece of art! You Actually will have Lots Of Trouble if you attempt to make this time-sensitive due to the Different Weights Of Sand & Powder Flow! So, Do keep that in mind. But Mine makes for A Beautifully Interesting Conversation Piece that I'm Very Happy With. Do Remember that you WILL NEED To Use A Small Funnel Regardless of what your filling this Hourglass with to Avoid A Total Mess!!! But once your Finished, You will have A Beautiful "Custom-made" Hourglass to Enjoy and be Proud Of.

We used this at our unity ceremony at our wedding. It was very easy to open to set up. My only thing that I wished it had was a funnel to put the sand in, but we had something else on hand to remedy that issue.

Purchased this hour glass for my late sister’s ashes so that she could still participate in our family game days…unfortunately, it did not come with a funnel to fill and it was extremely difficult to do. We made it work with a straw and paper plate. Also, her remains do not filter through to other side, but it still is a beautiful tribute to her !

Needed a place to keep our ‘souvenir’ sand. What a beautiful piece of art. Inserting the sand was easy and we were able to create our very own keepsake.

Manly bought this for an urn and have it so "grandpa" can still be with us for game night however it's not wide enough for the ashes to go through.
