These black mirror cap covers are exactly what I was looking for. They matched the paint on my FJ Cruiser perfectly and instantly gave the side profile a cleaner, more upgraded look. Super easy to install—just peel the backing and press on with the strong adhesive (3M tape). They’ve held up great, even through car washes and weather. Not only do they look sleek, but they also give me peace of mind by protecting the original mirrors underneath from scratches and chips. If you’re going for that full blacked-out look or just want to keep your side mirrors in top shape, these are a solid buy. Totally impressed!

Well I have to admit. I rarely ever do this, but I was pretty sure these wouldn’t live up to my picky expectations so I ordered them with the mindset of ‘well these are probably crappy, but I’ll order them and see what they look like in person and I can always return them’ Well I was sure wrong. And I must say I’m so glad I gave them a try before wasting money on two new mirrors just so I can black out my FJ. They met and exceeded my expectations. By a long shot too. They fit on the mirror so well, when I’m standing two feet away there’s no indication at all that these are covers. There’s no way to tell. They’re that good. It’s a nice snug fit too. Not all loose and rattling around. They would likely stay on without any tape, that’s how well they fit. Not saying I’m not using the tape. But just to give you an idea of the perfect fit they are. If you’re blacking out your FJ and amazed by the crazy prices of the mirrors, door handles, grill etc. don’t hesitate. Just get these. Save your money for something else. I have a hack for the $22 door handles being sold here too. Well worth it. Look for my review soon for the cciyu door handles. I’ll show ya how to make them well worth the $22. Get these covers! You won’t regret it!

Super easy to install and looks great on the FJ! Has withstood 80+ speeds, 100+ temps, and flooding rains.

We have black fender flares on the FJ and these match them perfectly. I added a small extra piece of 3M double sided tape, but the included tape probably would be sufficient. They fit tight and the tape will definitely hold them in place. Previously I had used Plasti-dip to paint the mirrors black, but I didn't get the paint on thick enough. So two problems with that, it's harder to remove Plasti-dip if not applied thick enough and the thin plastic-dip is less durable. I also bought matching door handle covers which I am hoping will stay on with the included 3M double sided tape.
