Take the 25 watt bulb limit seriously!
Works as intended, but I started off by making the mistake of thinking there was any room for slack with regard to the wiring, and tried it with a 40w LED bulb in the center, and 6w bulbs around it. When I plugged it in, the wiring under the 40w bulb instantly went up in a puff of smoke, permanently disabling the socket and fusing the light's on-off switch in the process. When they say a maximum of 25w per bulb, they really mean it, for each and every bulb! I also bought some other socket adapters from the same vendor (Toplimit), which let one swivel and point the bulbs as desired; those take 60w per bulb, and the cost difference is negligible, so if you might ever want to use a higher powered bulb, I'd recommend those instead.

Very Cheap Quality
I read the reviews before I bought it about how it breaks VERY eaisily- but I figured since I'm handy with soldering and fixing things, I'd give it a shot and fix it if it broke. I ordered 4 of them. The arms aren't cheap, it's the threaded socket barrel. It binds up the threads on the bulbs and then just snaps off the base bending it hopelessly out of shape in the process. This is while being VERY careful during normal operation of putting lightbulbs in. The barrel broke on 2 of the sockets. The ones that I got the bulbs in work great, I just hope I never have to change the bulbs again. I sent one back broken.

Looks and Feels Cheap Because It Is, But It Works
This socket / bulb splitter tests the limits on how many bulbs you could possibly replace one bulb with. It's got a limit of 125 watts and I personally want to stay well under that because I don't really trust the stated maximum. This units features very inexpensive and cheap-looking plastic, and the thin wires are somewhat exposed on the back. The unit is rigid-enough thought and feels reasonably durable. There is a grittiness to the sockets and I had trouble screwing two of the bulbs in. However, once I got all my bulbs in (Ikea LEDs), the entire assembly screwed into my single-bulb fixture. With all the bulbs in and the power switch flicked, honestly the assembly is so damn bright I can't really look at it because it hurts my eyes. It lights up the room like daylight-- which is what I was looking for. The picture I took here was from a cell phone camera and the auto-contrast kicked in so you can't really get a sense of it. But this sucker is BRIGHT. Like the Sun. Ha!I'd give this splitter a qualified recommendation. It has it's uses if all you have available is a single light bulb socket. And for ten bucks, you really can't go wrong. However, if you have access to an actual light box / ceiling box and can mount any fixture you like, I would run a more conventional light fixture complete with a diffuser. When this splitter is used, you've got seven exposed bulbs and some pretty harsh and glaring light if you use powerful bulbs. Also, there is a certain weird novelty in using seven bulbs to essentially get the same brightness you could with just two bulbs (according to my calculation of lumens for several bulbs I have from Ikea). Still, like I said, if all you have is one bulb socket and you need to make it rain sunshine, this splitter will work.

What I needed, but doesn't include listed adapters.
I needed a 1-to-5 splitter for use in my torchiere lamp, and this seems like it will do the trick nicely! The package arrived in a timely manner, and seems to be adequately-well constructed. It seems to have a good distance between the arms and the center socket, so I am confident my LED or CFL bulbs will fit just fine.Overall, I am satisfied. It is a great product for the price. However, I'm deducting 2 stars from my review because the product description says:"Package includes 5 adapters Bulb Lamp Socket Enlarger Candelabra to Standard (medium) bulb adapter"This was not the case. Mine arrived with only the 1-to-5 splitter in a bag. This is not a deal-breaker for me, since the splitter was what I wanted. But the claimed adapters would have been nice to have, as I was thinking it would be nice to try candelabra-style bulbs in my lamp.In addition to this review, I'm reporting the description for incorrect information.

Seems unsafe and cheesy
So upon receiving one outlet was not functioning. I disassembled this to see why and if I could fix it. The wires are just stuck under the post screws, no solder, no terminal. After viewing this I chose not to use it as it doesn't seem safe or something that will last. The wire guage was also very small. To disassemble this I had to damage it as everything is glued and or crimped together. I will not be returning it for that reason. I would not recommend this for anything above maybe 25 watt bulbs, think nightlight as the wires seem too small to safely carry the amperage.

Very well made
This is great for making a low cost DIY grow light, just buy or use an existing lamp holder with switch and 7 LED bulbs, you can get up to 105w/11000+ total lumen for less than $60, or in my case I used 8w/800 lumen LED bulbs from dollar store, total cost for this 56w/6000 lumen grow light (not pink!) is under $20! Quality is great, max wattage for each socket is 25w (175w total), highly recommend!

Great & Inexpensive Garage/Shop Lighting Option.
Just put 11 of these in my garage, with 100W equivalent LED bulbs. Tested each in a lamp with a Kill-A-Watt meter, and each worked perfectly, and ran at 75W total. Quality is far better than I expected. The structure is much more rigid than it appears in the photos, and is made from what clearly appears to be a glass fiber reinforced plastic. The sockets however are a little too lightweight/flimsy in my opinion, (hence the 4 stars) but with LED bulbs in them, you're not likely to be replacing bulbs often, and therefore also not likely to be wearing them out anytime soon. I'm extremely happy overall, as it saved me the hassle of swapping out to different fixtures, and/or expensive high output LED bulbs.
