This Front Differential Carrier Bushing number is 12479179 did not fit my 1996 Chev K2500 3/4 Ton. There is an amazon.ca catalog error. When I looked up my application on amazon.ca the part number that came up was 12479179. This part didn't fit. I found Delco part number 15962664 by doing an internet search for my application. I looked up that number on amazon.ca and voila, there was the correct bushing. I reported this discrepancy to amazon.ca. They said they would fix it. This correct part ACDelco 15962664 fit like a glove of spanish leather! Be sure to put some sort of anti seize or grease inside so the bolt doesn't seize to the bushing sleeve like my original one. It was a devil to remove using an angle grinder, drill, hammer, and ingenuity!
