Great crafting tool addition
The Craft911 Manual Craft Drill Sharp is a surprisingly capable tool for hobbyists, especially considering its compact size, which makes it easy to maneuver in tight spaces. I recently used it to place a sign in my wreath, and the drill quality was impressive; it created clean, precise holes through the wood plaque without splintering the material. Despite its lightweight feel, the durability of the casing suggests it can handle the occasional drop on a craft room floor. Because it is a manual-style craft drill, you don’t have to worry about battery life or finding an outlet, yet it provides enough manual power to glide through resin, plastic, and light woods with minimal effort.

Wow! What a surprise! It was slow, but worked!
Item: Amazon 3” acrylic ornament disk with plastic protective film on each side. I am calling this tool a “Gizmo.” WHAT I TRIED TO DRILL HOLES IN AN ORNAMENT BLANK First fails: battery powered screwdriver with drill bit. That cracked disk and half went flying across the room! Second not great result: Dremel 200. It did sort of okay but hole looked chewed up. I had to clean it up with a vise. Called Dremel and was told to use a 4300 and go buy Dremel drill bits and get a drill press stand. ( Before I invested $250 for the set, I wanted to test this $10 gizmo!) THIS LITTLE GIZMO: Huh! It WORKS! It is VERY s l o w, but not hard to do. Downside to do the 36 holes I need would take about 9 ( nine!) hours. First hole took about 15 minutes to break through, but it was a pretty clean hole! Compare it against the machined one I didn’t do on right. I used the largest bit in the set. 1/2 way through the bit slid up inside the gizmo. So I had to fish it out, put it back in position and retightening it in jaw. Emphasizing “Used largest drill bit.” Look at the holes: the one on left this Gizmo did. The one on right the ornament blank came with it. Large = about 1/8” hole. Smallest bits are smaller diameter than a sewing pin. Conclusion: This takes A LOT of patience! If the goal is to finish fast and finish your project, like I wanted to do, this level of “slow” is too slow. I am going to source a colleague with a Dremel 4400 set up and pay them to do the drilling. With the right set up, should take about 15-30 minutes. But if you want a project while watching tv, or waiting on a meal in the oven, or hanging out watching your front lawn grass grow, this slow Gizmo does work. Dremel’s are worth the investment when multiple projects are waiting. They are great little all in one tools for small projects. Tip - unscrew the Gizmo part closest to jaw to open so you can put in drill bit. Instructions are not correct in web page; it says to unscrew top area. No Instructions on box, just warning to wear glasses and bits are fragile. Bits may be stuck in storage tube. Mine were. I dislodged a few using another bit. The tiniest ones were really stuck! I took off cap from other end and “blew hard.” That moved the last two a little bit to wear I could scrape them out with another bit.

Tiny but mighty
This tiny little drill is great! Easy to use and did the job on wood without much effort. Can hardly wait to try it on plastic. I just received it today but will definitely keep it

ALMOST perfect - only 1 flaw!
I got this hand drill to drill so-called tiny holes for various hobby projects, & it works GREAT! 2 words of warning, however: 1) the drill bit will slide INSIDE the handle (although it comes out), so make sure you tighten the shackle to make sure that the bit is secure. 2) in my experience as a DIYer, these tiny bits tend to break off if too much torque is applied, so be aware of this when using the smallest bits. Other than that, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

Quality...
Using for Plastic miniatures, drilling out barrels, ect. Works great. Great assortment of bit sizes and theyre quality bits. Sharp. Smooth action when drilling, no hanging up. Basic tri-lock bit holder. Works as intended. It comes in a small plastic case, foam insert, with the drill and a small tube to hold the bits separately. This way the bits dont go flying if you open the case wrong. Good idea.

Great tool. Worked for small pine cones.
I got this item specifically to drill holes in small pine cones for craft projects. It's slow going, but it does work. I needed a hole just large enough to insert a floral pick in the cone. Since I wasn't able to go very deep, I did supplement the pick with hot glue. Again, slow going but it worked without breaking even the smallest of cones. I did scan the QR code that came with the product for the "avoid top 3 pin vise mistakes" which was very helpful. It is important to not apply too much pressure and just devote the time to drill slowly and steadily. The tool worked for exactly what I needed it to do.

Haven’t used it yet but am very impressed with the drill bit sizes.
