This is a good one. The scent is definitely familiar and reminds me of something my dad would wear when I was a kid, but it is still a great scent and the longevity is really good. At the price point it is a hard one to beat.

Drakkar Intense is exactly what the name promises — intense, warm, and unforgettable. It kicks off with a sharp, spicy burst that instantly commands attention. There’s this dark, seductive edge to it — think ambery wood with a twist of freshness up front. It still holds that classic Drakkar DNA but modernized. The dry-down is rich and leathery, with hints of vanilla and moss that mellow things out without losing the masculine punch. I’ve had people stop and ask me what I’m wearing. It’s one of those scents that makes you feel like the main character. Longevity is solid. It stays noticeable for hours without being overpowering, and it wears better as the day goes on. It’s perfect for cooler weather, date nights, or just when you want to feel powerful. I normally wear Sauvage during the day. However, I bought Drakkar Intense after searching for more economical scents. Honestly, it is very nice. It does not project as well as Sauvage, but it lasts several hours. 6-8 hours, no problem. Also, the scent is beautiful, warm, and spicy. It has a touch of sweetness that Sauvage does not have. I actually prefer the scent of Drakkar Intense to Sauvage EDP. Both are very nice, but the value for the price on this product is amazing. The atomizer is not as nice as Sauvage, but it applies nicely, spraying in a low volume mist.

This is actually a decent flanker for being an entry level designer fragrance. Makes a great gift for the uninitiated. Drakar Intense can certainly be a gateway drug to the fragrance world. The affordable price makes this a low risk proposition. A good option to throw in your car for the unexpected need to spice up your scent profile at a given moment. Sweet and spicy, better suited for cooler weather use. As expected with most fragrances in this price range, performance is just average at best. This is not a complex multi layered experience. It basically smells the same at dry down as at initial application only with a long consistent fade. Blind buy safe.

This cologne makes me smell like the main character in a life I’m still winging scene by scene. Now the only downside is having to live up to the scent and pretend I’m as put together as I smell. I bought this fully expecting it to smell like a midlife crisis in a bottle, the kind of thing a guy wears when he’s clinging to his glory days and a thinning hairline. Plot twist: it actually smells really good. If you grew up around the original Drakkar, this feels like its older, more put-together brother who has a 401(k) and only occasionally makes bad decisions.

It smells great especially for the price, and lasts my entire work day
