Grout Refresh - Pearl Gray - 8oz. Bottle

Although it states Pearl Gray, it does not apply as stated in the description. It is a much darker shade of gray

I bought this product 7 months ago. I am now getting around to review it. I used this product on my bathroom floor. My bathroom floor was recently tiled and the grout color (mapei grout) came out way too light. (After recently reading into mapei grout, this is a common theme to the point where some tiles refuse to work with it). Anyways, less than a few weeks after re grouting with this-I regret it. The floor around my bathtub has permanent water Marks in the grout. Hard to explain. But if you get water on this grout refresh and dont get it up right away, expect it to be discolored. I have dark gray grout with white water Marks all over it. (You know sometimes when you use the shower and your floor gets a little wet) . That's what was happening when I didnt get up the water right away. I am now desperately looking to remove this. The old floor was better. So upset. I hate this product. Only use it if you plan on never washing your floor or getting it wet here or there.

The pearl gray was a bit darker than I wanted so I mixed it half and half with a bottle of white. I did my master bath with the grout being about 20 years old. It looks a ton better now. Easy to paint on but takes a long time to get the extra refresh off the tile without taking it off the grout. Don't paint the entire bathroom first and then do the cleanup as you will feel very rushed to finish before it dries. Do a section at a time. It's been about 6 months now and the refresh paint is staying on completely. The refresh is pretty time intensive but compared to replacing the tile its worth it.

We remodeled our half bath and put white subway tile on the walls and gray plank tiles on the floor. As carefully as we tried to cover the floor when tiling the walls, the white grout residue from the wall tile adhered to the gray grout on the floors. It turned the gray grout white across pretty much the whole floor. Luckily the Grout Refresh came in the same color as the floor grout. I painted it on with a small toothbrush and immediately wiped it off. It worked perfectly! Floor looks perfect. My husband was amazed at how good it came out.

Just loved this stain. We were sure we'd need to cut out and replace our old discolored grout but thought we'd give this a try first. WOW! looks brand new and relatively easy to put down. It's been down for two weeks and we see no indication of flaking or wearing out/through. We kept a bottle for the future it touchup is required, but for right now we're extremely pleased.d
