Bold, smooth espresso flavor in a convenient pod
Café Bustelo never disappoints, and these K-Cups are excellent. The coffee brews strong and flavorful with that classic espresso-style richness, without tasting bitter. It’s perfect for mornings when you want a bold cup fast without sacrificing quality. I love the convenience of the Keurig pods while still getting that authentic Café Bustelo taste. It works great on its own or as a base for lattes and Cuban-style coffee. The aroma is fantastic and consistent with every brew. Great value and a staple for anyone who enjoys strong, flavorful coffee.

Keep the K Cup Machine
This coffee is the reason why I still have a Keurig machine. All of the K pods that I've tried taste horrible and just watered down. Bustelo makes a very strong and bold tasting coffee and a little goes a long way. Enjoy!

Smooth for a copycat latte
These taste really good , similar to Starbucks espresso . I have the newer single cup keurig that’s very tiny / most basic model and these worked well when I put in the lowest amount of water (up to 6 line) not super strong but smooth and not bitter ! Only weird thing is they came loose in a cardboard box but who cares at this point

Delicioso. Almost as good as mì abuela used to brew.

Great Coffee. I compared it to Peet's Major Dickenson and Peet's French Roast.
Yes, this comes in bulk in a cardboard box. So does the Peet's coffee I regularly get from Amazon. I don't care about the box, it's the coffee that's important. And yes, like most K-Cups, there is a Best Used By Date on each K-Cup. You have to look carefully, but it's there. The Bustelo I received has a BUBD ten months out. I like strong bold coffee, and I drink my coffee black and without sugar. Some years ago I had settled on Peet's French Roast. However as I've learned more about coffee, I've learned that strong bold coffee doesn't have to be made with dark roast, and that many of the great flavors of coffee are better enjoyed with a medium roast. So, I did some research, and decided to try Peet's Major Dickenson and Bustelo. I compared the three coffees side by side, brewing them in my Keurig at the middle setting. The result was surprising to me. Of the three, the French Roast has the least flavor. The Bustello and the Major Dickenson were clearly more enjoyable, with the edge to Bustello. Each has its own character, and I'd urge anyone who likes strong black coffee to try them both. Regarding freshness and K-Cups. Ideally, coffee should be drunk within 15 days of roasting because once roasted coffee gets exposed to oxygen, it starts to go bad. This process can be arrested by sealing fresh-roasted and ground coffee in an airtight container with nitrogen, and that's exactly how these three coffees are made. These K-Cups, like most (but not all) K-Cups, seal freshly roasted and ground coffee in a K-Cup, inserting nitrogen. As a result, they don't have brew dates, but do have Best Used By Dates. So give Bustelo a try. It's expensive if you buy it in very small quantities, but for testing it out, you may well find it a great investment.
