Recommended by my orthopedic, this provided a great deal of pain relief during a flare. It fits perfectly in my shoe and using the size chart here on Amazon helped me choose the correct size. It is designed to keep the joint from bending, which it does effectively. I will be purchasing more for my other shoes.

Dr wanted me to get this - to prevent me from rolling over my big toe which has spurs. it is very thin & very stiff so does not add much to the tightness of the shoe. I have a wide foot so might affect me more than others. It is totally flat & is not meant for arch support at all. You only need to slip under the insert of your shoe. It is good material & works as needed -- until surgery can fix the issue!

This product may be good for some and not for others. Although this product reduced the pain in my great toe, it created pain in the arch of my foot, since it had no support and is flat. My other foot was so restriced in movement, I had numbness and tingling in the foot and toes. I can not endorse nor condemn this product, since everyone's feet are different. I just wish I could return them since they don't work for me. They are quite expensive to have to keep them when they don't work for me.

Slides around under big toe, i wish i had returned it to get the full footprint type, but i didnt get around to it. It's ok and does help. I bought it to limit big toe movement for my Halux Rigidus (stiff big toe arthritis) had surgery nearly a year ago and this helps 10-20% additionally to reduce pain

I’m an Orthotist, and when my wife broke her big toe, I got this to help with her recovery. It was flexible yet firm enough to help her heal and allow her to transition back to a shoe from the hard sole cast shoe she got from her podiatrist. The DPM didn’t mention wearing it, but her toe didn’t bother her when she used it, and hurt when she didn’t. She is not walking without it and is not in pain, so it seemed to do a good job. It fit in enough shoes, but not all, but this was expected. She found it most helpful to use it with a shoe that had just enough room in the toebox, but important the shoe didn’t have too much room. (Like Goldilock’s shoe it has to be just right.)

My podiatrist recommended this before I had surgery to remove a cyst on my big toe. This isolated movement of the toe and made walking a lot less difficult. Highly recommended. Just remember to put it under the cushion in your shoe. I made the mistake of putting it directly in my shoe until I visited my doctor and told him the pain it was causing and he showed me that it needed to be put under the cushion.

Auf Grund meiner Arthrose im Großzehengelenk konnte ich manche schöne Sommerschuhe trotz orthopädischer Einlagen nicht mehr ohne Schmerzen tragen. Grund ist die weiche Sohle. Deshalb bestellte ich mir diese Karboneinlagen als zusätzliche Stütze. Ich war zunächst skeptisch, ob es funktioniert und auch angesichts des recht hohen Preises. Aber zu meiner freudigen Überraschung passen die dünnen Karboneinlagen perfekt unter die normalen orthopädischen Einlagen, wirken zudem recht stabil und ich kann endlich wieder schmerzfrei in den leichten Schuhen laufen. 100% Empfehlung!

Not cheap for what it is but was recommended by an orthopaedic surgeon to help my severely arthritic big toe. This really helped making walking a bit bearable whilst waiting for my surgery

Amazon do not accept returns even when submitted on delivery, as the product far too small for me. Beware!!! I have had to give it one star rating, although with this seller the rating is nil! I cannot believe they follow UK consumer laws on that. It is impossible to contact their Customer Service people, so nearly £40 down the drain. Great. Also, when you go to buy the item, I am unable to find the notice that the item is non-returnable. I am done with Amazon.
