This dust pan is just what I needed. As I'm getting older it makes it easier to pick up the trash and dust. No need to bend over. It being a rubbermaid product, I know if will last.

Who knew a dust pan could feel like a life upgrade? The Rubbermaid Upright Dust Pan has officially saved my back, my knees, and probably my dignity. No more awkward crouching, no more chasing crumbs across the floor like I’m in an Olympic sport—just a quick sweep, and everything lands neatly inside without escaping out the sides. I had purchased a cheaper version here on Amazon and immediately wished I had just gotten this one for a little more than I paid. It’s sturdy, stands up on its own, and actually feels like it was made to last longer than a week (looking at you, cheap plastic pan). The handle height is comfortable and seems like it would work for most average height house cleaners. It holds A LOT of junk (crumbs, broken rot pieces, junk I don’t feel like picking up). It also sits flush with the floor so you get every bit of what you’re sweeping. Paired with a decent broom, it makes me feel like a cleaning professional instead of someone just trying to survive toddler snack time. Honestly, it’s the kind of product that makes you wonder why you put up with the flimsy dollar-store versions for so long. Five stars and a cleaner floor to show for it!

Usually can’t go wrong with Rubbermaid products and this didn’t disappoint. So glad I no longer have to subject my bad back to constantly bending over when sweeping floors.

Wow. The Rubbermaid brand used to mean you were buying the best. Sturdy, durable and quality made. Not so anymore. This dustpan is advertised as "executive " and "commercial". Any executive as dysfunctional as this dustpan is would be quickly swept up and chucked into the trash bin. Commercial use literally implies that it is very strong, durable and intended for all day use. This dustpan is quite flimsy. I explain my opinions below. My dustpan arrived in a seriously warped condition. When it is placed on level smooth ground, the leading edge of the pan only contacts the surface at the corners. The center is about 5/16's of an inch above the surface. Therefore you can't even sweep all your material up! If you try the push the pan down, the gap lifts up and opens up even more. Basically, it's unusable on hard surfaces like on linoleum, concrete or hardwood floors. It would be at home sweeping up trash on a sandy beach, or cleaning up a few leaves out of your dirt garden. Refer to images and video. This is a very light weight dustpan. Flimsy comes to mind. The metal handle screws into the yoke, which is then attached to the body of the dustpan. At the end of the hollow metal handle, a plastic male screw is attached. This is so the handle can screw into the yoke. That "screw" is held onto the shaft by a series of dents in the shaft. That junction is loose. That "screw", then screws into a threaded, split piece of plastic. That threaded piece of split plastic, is then shoved into the yoke and held in place by a pair of tiny tongue-in-groove like junctions. That junction is also loose. In all, it is very lose and weak handle to yoke attachment. Flimsy is how I would describe this dustpan. To call it a commercial product is offensive to me. The word deceptive comes to mind. I chose to use this so called commercial dustpan in our dirt garden area where it isn't critical how well it actually cleans debris up. Maybe sweeping up a few leaves off a loose dirt surface will be all its good for. I was unwilling to waste my time to bother returning it. That would be a further waste of cardboard and shipping costs. Hopefully yours will be a good one.

This dust pan was easy to put together and is simple. I’ma tall guy, so having one of these saves my back when I’m cleaning. No more bending over using the hand held dust pan. Also, it pivots to keep the dust/dirt inside before dumping. I highly recommend one of these.

Durable dust pan from with utility around the inside and outside of the property. It's at the right height to work along with the broom and emptying is easy. The first one arrived without a handle but Amazon replaced it and the second came with the handle as the product description notes. We have two, one for the inside and the other for the outside of the home. Makes cleanup a breeze. It's commercial grade that last a long time. The first one is more than 10 years old and keeps working, so we bought newer one and used the older one for outside cleanup. Glad that Rubbermaid didn't change a good design and kept the materials the same overtime. It's worth the money spent.

This is really disappointing after I opened the package. It is absolutely different brand product than shown and describe as in the picture. I purchased from Geekay Industrial Services.
