Sound quaility
Neat compact unit and the sound quality is nice. Well thought out control buttons. Wish the display would go a little dimmer for right beside your bed use. Also, the alarm does ramp up a little too quickly in the morning. Otherwise, a nice package and it plays CD's!

Very good sound quality
I have been on a quest for a replacement for my 20 year old am/fm CD clock radio which had features they just don't offer today. I tried another brand and returned it. This one, although not feature perfect, has come closest, and it's a keeper. On the positive side, the sound is excellent. Surprisingly so. It has am radio, and digital tuning. On the negative side, it has only one preset each for an am and fm which means you need to hit the search button when you want to change stations. Also, the station you are listening to when you go to bed is the one you will up to. (I like listening to soft, easy listening music while falling asleep, but like to wake up to a news/weather station.) And when the radio is on the display shows the station you're on constantly instead of reverting back to the time. So now I use an Echo Dot with a clock to show the time. Lastly, when tapping the sleep timer, it makes a very "plastic" clicking noise that sounds like it's going to break. They could have put some rubber in there to soften the noise. All these negatives are minor and I value the positives enough to keep this.

Great little radio/CD player.
This is perfect for my needs. I have an extensive CD collection and this is easy to operate. It has AM/FM radio, a clock with large display, alarms, backup battery, and other functions that I don't use. It is just the right size for my area. It's easy to operate and I'm very happy with it. Good price, too.

Almost useless.
The sound of this radio was terrible. I have or had other radios that I could easily pick up my favorite station, that actually runs on 2 stations. This unit, the only way to get the same station was to literally hold the antenna in your hand! Even then, the stations have a lot of static. The display doesn't show the time if the CD or radio is playing or even if you have a CD on the sleep timer. When over, it shows what track it ended on, but doesn't go back to the time. The display also has a separate piece that is supposed to go over the display. I didn't even find it until I was shipping it back, so the display was very hard to read and know what was actually showing. The volume came on very loud with the alarm and not what you want when just waking up, and was hard to shut off. The construction was cheap, and not a single thing was worth keeping. I was surprised at such low quality from Jenson, but I wouldn't buy another.

Radio alarm unusable
It’s a good radio but the radio alarm comes on at full volume regardless of where the volume is set the night before

Decent radio
Decent radio/cd player. Oddly sized due to CD. Easy to set up but didn't realize it didn't have a timer to sleep mode. Something I got used to with my other clock. One odd thing about this radio is that if you are listening to the radio or the CD player, you can't tell what time it is because it shows either the radio station or the CD track that is playing. Kind of odd.

Cheap- not user friendly
I'm a writer and radio listener. I have a good Panasonic that's old but fine sound quality and ease of use. A dream. I ordered the Jensen model for another part of the house. I went cheap, because it was just an auxiliary. The choice confirms my grandmother's axiom, "Buy cheap, you get cheap." This model was surprisingly lightweight, almost as if there is nothing inside it. That was a hint. You press one button to turn it on, and then press another button twice to get the proper bandwidth, at which point there is an irritating 5 -second delay before you hear anything. Changing stations is an exercise in pressing the buttons. My old Panasonic has dials and much deeper, better sound. Spend the extra money and get something better.
