Fir a simple think I'm impressed buy this simple item an dare say better than what came with my LED strip an doing 2 at same time good as had 2 power units die.... has 2 connection types 5 pin male or female depending what you have.... EDIT 2nd one i have got now.. great little item.

Bought this to add accent lighting under kitchen cabinets. Lots of modes and colors to choose from on the remote control with endless more possibilities using the phone app. These really add to the look and appearance of the kitchen and allow us to change settings for different seasons while adding some useful task lighting. You can turn the unit on using the middle button on the control block which I purposely placed out of sight but easy to reach in the dark to add light in the kitchen to grab something and then get on your way. I do wish that these could go brighter for task lighting but 90% of the time they are enough and way better than before I installed them. Adhesion has been great, I put marginal effort into cleaning the underside of the cabinets prior to installation but these have been holding just fine for over a year now. One short length (about 4 LEDs) located over the stove has become discolored, I assume that is due to some excessive heat from the stove that must have happened one time or maybe it was hit by something. The rest of the ribbon over the stove is operating fine, you can't see the defect except for the reflection or if you bend over to look directly at the strip lights.
