Nice beginner bundle even though tuner is defective.
This is a very nice beginner guitar bundle. For the price, I am impressed with the physical quality of the guitar and it sounds great. For shipment this was packaged well and it appears that it was packed and boxed up with care, which says a lot about the way Donner approaches things. The guitar case is a bit flimsy, but it will protect the guitar a bit for traveling to lessons or a friend's house. Just don't bang it around in this case. It also has straps so you can carry it on your back. The front pouch will hold the accessories and your music easily. This is a good value for sure. This kit is not the finest that you will ever see, but it is not supposed to be. For a beginner it will be hard to beat at this price point and it looks and sounds like it costs a bit more. The kit comes with an electronic tuner, which is great. Sadly the one I got is defective and is difficult to read. I did contact customer support and sent them pictures twice, but after their initial reply I have heard nothing from them. It is unfortunate that a company that delivers a product that they should be proud of drops the ball over a cheap accessory. I debated dropping one star-- not so much for the faulty tuner, but more for the weak customer service. I'll have to buy a different tuner, but there is a nagging concern about what I should expect should a more serious issue develops where I need an actual solution. Still, I kept it at 5 stars because the main item, the guitar, is nice and sounds delightful even if the tuning is off a bit. I dare say that if Donner can continue to produce products that balance quality and price, and can develop a customer service model to match, they will earn a reputation that is second to none. I may update this review if needed as time goes on and this guitar gets some mileage.

Acoustic Guitarists - Grab this Guitar (with effects) - You are in for a Treat.
I have played the guitar for decades, and owned a dozen or so guitars all over the price-range. I say this without hesitation - this is the most fun guitar I have ever had. The guitar features a simple innovation - effects inside the box via a small inbuilt amp and speaker, which results in an amazing, rich range of sounds in this 3/4 sized midget. And the fun part - you don't have to plug the guitar to an amp to enjoy the effects or be tethered to a speaker to enjoy the effects. Without these built-in effects, this is an ordinary low cost & quality guitar that does not merit a second look and with unremarkable raw sound. The stand-alone effects transform it to punch much higher than its price-range. On a welcome positive note, the action is low (much better than my Yamaha guitar - my fingers thank you). The raw sound without effects tends to be more on the metallic side - better gauge strings might improve the sound quality. There are a couple of annoying items that merit deducting a star: (1) the fret edges are angled sharply, and can cut your fingers if you are not careful as you slide along the fretboard. (2) I may have got a lemon - the lower E string does not stay in tune. I am hoping it will settle in, but this is not a good sign: I will return this if the tuning does not stay in place after a week of playing. The preamp is powered by a rechargeable lithium battery, which can reportedly last more than 6 hours of playing time. Several generous extras came in this package: a soft gig bag, spare strings, capo, plectrums, strap, tuner, and a cable to charge the internal battery via USB. A small folded paper explains how to operate the unit - long press power for a few seconds to turn it on. There are 3 knobs (and an additional nested knob) that control the effects. I picked this up on a whim during Amazon's Black Friday deals, and the advertised price is well worth it. If you love playing the acoustic guitar, you will enjoy this guitar - grab it before it sells out.

Sounds good.
This guitar actually surprised me a bit. I shouldn't have based on the price, but I was expecting it to be a bit lower quality. It is a mass produced guitar. Given that, it tunes properly, stays tuned, intonation isn't bad, no buzz, and doesn't sound bad. The frets definitely need work. They are a bit sharp where they were cut along the edge of the fretboard. The rest of the set was mediocre. If you are buying this for the amp, don't. The gig bag is okay. It comes with some other accessories which are fine. The tuner is accurate, but glitches out occasionally. It also comes with an extra set of strings and a pick guard and a few picks. If I had it to do again, I would have bought a higher quality guitar in the same price range without the amplifier.

Not worth it.
I played guitar for many years before my time in the service. Got this to try playing again. Shipping was awkward. Got 3 different delivery times. When it did arrive, the box had several holes in it, torn top flap, and in rough shape. Luckily the guitar wasn't hurt. Had a nick in the body, but covered it with a black sharpie. Very hard to keep it in tune, string buzz, bad fret work, and uneven heights. I took it to Guitar Center, and they wanted $225 plus change, just to get it setup, and playable. Do yourself a favor, and spend the extra few bucks, so you can actually play it. Accessories are there, but on the cheap side, and small size. The only thing that was really good was the capo. Very good, and fits tight on the neck. This is my outlook on this Donner outfit. Just saying use a real guitar store first before you buy just by looking at pictures. Donner did reach out to me, but none of their directions worked. Photos, video of product would not load, then they stated it was Amazon's fault the guitar was damaged, even though it was in a Donner box, and it was shipped, and delivered by UPS. UPDATE: Donner has notified me they did arrive full refund on the purchase price. Checked my account, and a full refund was given.Thank you to Donner for making things right. Maybe your Q.C. department will do a better job. Thanks again.

i got this in September 2023. Everything is there as advertised. -it was neatly packed in the box securely. -the guitar has really nice sound not bad for the size (slim body), -i love the color greenish gray/ash, -no scratch/dent when it got to me. -and minimal setup to adjust the action i did myself (did not change the string) But around December I notice something isn’t right when I plug the cable and connect it to the amp no sounds coming out from the speaker(guitar is still playable), so I reach out to the costumer service even though its been a few months past since I got the guitar. The reason why I gave a 5 star. From the time I have sent my query up to the time problem was resolved only took 24hrs or probably less (multiple question and answer). Most of the time seller respond 24hrs after or only during office hours. So for me they deserved a 5 star and highly recommended brand.
