I have been using an expensive hairdryer for the past few months and at first it worked well but lately I have realised that my hair are breaking and are very dry. I had previously used a Parlux and my hair were in good condition so I decided to go for this new model. im glad I did, the temperature is constant and works well even with medium heat. Less frizz and no more dry hair.

It's not lightweight, it's not got a great speed and it's sparking inside when I turn it on. Very dissapointed

Other brands don’t come close to the efficiency or quality of any of the Parlux hairdryers, and this model is no exception. It dries my hair quickly, smoothly and for all it’s a powerful dryer, it’s lightweight, a good size and it’s easy and comfortable to handle. I won’t buy any other brand ever again. I remembered this brand was good but forgot how good the Parlux dryers are. Worth every single penny. You can definitely see why hairstylists invest in these and the brand was originally recommended to me by my hairdresser. I’ve lots of straight hair and sometimes takes ages to dry also my hair is prone to frizz. This dryer helps me control the frizz and dries my hair in a fraction of time compared to other dryer’s without my arms aching. I just love this brand for hairdryers, I’ve had many other brands over the years including dyson and ghd after my last Parlux dryer which I had approx 10 years! I had accidentally dropped my last Parlux from banister on the landing and landed on tiled floor bottom of stairs which cracked it. It still worked! Only reason I scrapped it was I didn’t want to continue to use it after having to wrap it in electrical tape to hold it together. Otherwise I’m sure it would have still been going strong today. I wish I’d just bought another Parlux then rather than purchasing inferior brands over the last 8 years.

Not sure why a reviewer said it wasn’t lightweight. Not sure how much more light it could get. Works amazingly well compared to my new Dyson which is heavier than this. I didn’t get aching in my arms at all and it takes up to 2 hours to dry my hair as it’s thick and long. Very good best hairdryer I’ve used.

Needed a new hair dryer and hairdresser recommended. Very expensive but decided to treat myself. I have very thick hair and drying could take 30-40 minutes and then need straightening. This took me half the time to dry my hair and result was brilliant. I do use good products too which I am sure helps. Minimal straightening, but still needed due to amount hair I have, but very smooth and straight. Love it and would recommend!!
