I thought Nikon had its own in house manufacturing in Japan. I find the binoculars are made in China. Very good binoculars quality wise. Not too heavy, very good image, fiddley to fit strap. I wear glasses and find them easy to use wearing glasses

Magnification is clear and quite impressive
Great binoculars for bird watching. Larger than expected and case is quite bulky but I'm comparing to my previous pair which were more compact for travel. I would certainly recommend them.
