Rich chocolate flavor and blends perfectly
This chocolate protein powder tastes great and blends very easily. It has a rich, milkshake-like flavor without being too heavy. I like it with ice and almond milk, and it keeps me full for a while. Reliable protein for everyday use. Pros: - Great chocolate flavor - High protein - Mixes smoothly - Good for breakfast or post-workout Cons: - A bit sweet for some - Large container takes up space

Excellent Value- macro math, cost, taste, results (and a delicious shake recipe!)
Yes- the math is great- 30g of protein, 1g of sugar, 2g fat, 150 calories per serving (2 scoops). And yes, there are similar products with similar nutritional metrics, but I go for Premier Protein for several reasons: 1. Cost. $.93/ounce is highly competitive, despite mainstream product overhead and really nice packaging. Premier Protein is significantly cheaper than Dymatize ISO100 at $1.55/ounce, Optimum Nutrition at $1.37/ounce, and many other similar brands that check some of the same boxes. 2. Consistency. I have consumed in excess of 20 pounds over the past few years. Every tub has the same consistency, same quantity (irritatingly underfilled like ALL of these products), and tastes exactly the same (see 3.). 3. Taste. The Chocolate Milkshake flavor is aaahhhhhhmazing! My shakes taste like regular chocolate shakes- rich, creamy, flavorful with NO chemical bite or off putting whey overtones. (My delicious macro-bomb recipe is below.) 4. Fill-factor. After a 32 oz shake I feel full. Yes- Boyle's law holds and pressure is directly correlated to volume. However, the full feeling lingers for many hours. I have NOT had the same prolonged satiation with other protein powder options. 5. Results/Performance. I am not a nutritional expert, trainer, fitness model, body builder, or beach ego-manic. I'm a regular, middle-aged guy who is in pretty good shape and wants to stay that way. I refuse to lose tone, strength, and mass without a fight. So... after a recent back surgery and a desire to rebuild size and strength efficiently, I changed my daily workouts and my daily nutrition that now includes a midday shake- one per day, every day. I have experienced noticeable gains in muscle size and density as well as strength- particularly big muscle groups in shoulders, back, and legs (sorry- no pictures! ;) ). My 470 calorie / 56g protein shake recipe: -------------------------------------------------- Fill 32 ounce blender cup halfway with ice, then add: - 40g (2 scoops) of Premier Protein Chocolate Milkshake - 1 teaspoon of raw, unsweetened powdered cocoa - 3g of creatine monohydrate (if you add creatine, up your hydration- drink tons of water! Here's a link for a good option: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CCCNKD73?ref_=ppx_hzsearch_conn_dt_b_fed_asin_title_2&th=1) - 3g of marine collagen peptides (bovine collagen is arguably better with different macros if you can consume mammalian food products) - 1 large raw egg (appropriate cautions if you have concerns about raw foods) - 1 medium banana (optional, but I find it adds a tiny bit of sweetness and more creaminess) - 1/2 cup of skim milk (skip if dairy is an issue, but DO NOT substitute with nut/vegetable "milks." Shake will still be creamy)) - 2 tablespoons of vanilla Greek yogurt (as above, skip if dairy is an issue) - pinch of Celtic salt if you want to neutralize some of the sweetness Top with cold water, blend and enjoy! Soooooooooo good. TIP: If you want some texture in your shake, try adding a tablespoon of bittersweet chocolate chips or cacao nibs before blending. Yes, it adds a few calories, but not enough to create a guilt-flog impulse!

Great product
This is just about the best tasting, best nutrition levels (vitamins, calories, etc) and best value for the millions of protein powders out there. I add a scoop to plain oatmeal, along with a tablespoon of chia seeds and ground flax, for a great starter of the day. The chocolate taste isn't as overpowering as some of the other brands I've tried, very pleasant but very good. I also add it to hot water for hot chocolate while this weather is so cold. hits the spot.

sweet, clumpy, but not bad
Unable to mix easily as a drink; foams up and expands in a blender. But with care, provides a sweet base for a smoothie without a lot of calories. Blend with bananas, peanut butter (or nuts), broccoli, and spinach for a nutritious meal substitute.

Really Delish~ Hard to believe it's so High in Protein!
This product whisks up beautifully & has a very appealing, definitive chocolate flavor. It's quite good made with water but is even tastier, thicker, creamier & higher in protein when made with fat- free milk. This product exceeded my expectations so I plan to order it regularly! It was comparably priced, as well! No wonder it was labeled "Amazon's Choice"!

Nice product.
We are low on protein. Mix in blender with ice and milk. Taste is good. Mixes well. Texture good when mixed enough. Container size good. Will buy again.

Tastes Great - Like a Real Chocolate Milkshake
This protein powder is truly the best I've tasted. I'm doing a low carb/low sugar Keto diet of late and this is a wonderful way to start the day and it feels like a treat. The 30g of protein right off the bat is excellent. I will continue to purchase. I started off mixing the powder in almond milk with a fork and it was quite lumpy. Switched to a hand-whisk and all is well with the world.

Too sweet
This was so sickeningly sweet that I couldn't use it without adding some unsweetened soy protein powder to it. And even then it was too sweet. Using Stevia in the same concentrations as real sugar seems to be the problem. A very little Stevia goes a long way. And the fact that one scoop has only 15 grams of protein makes it undrinkable if you want more. I won't buy this again.
