These flashlights are super bright. I bought them to use during hurricanes here in Florida. Luckily this year that I bought them I didn't actually have to use them as we didn't lose power during the hurricane this year. Plusses...the flashlight is small, light, and easy to store. The beam, with fresh batteries, is bright. The focus function is useful. Con #1...it devours batteries. I use it to take my dog out for short night walks. The beam dims quickly and the batteries have to be replaced too often. Con #2 ...the need to toggle past the two flashing functions is annoying. After a few months, I'm ordering a different flashlight today. This will go in my emergency kit where the flashing alerts might be useful, not annoying.
