For people wondering how the calendar works.... This is the newest calendar watch from Orient. It will Last until 2043. It's a great quality watch that keeps really good time. It's comfortable on the wrist, in fact it comes with more than enough links, I had some removed so it would fit perfectly. I have been wearing it week and love the look.

I just received the watch and it looks great. I set it up without any issues. Some details that diminished my experience upon receiving it: - The box is protected only by a partial cover, so naturally, it received dents during shipping. - The box it arrived in is different from the one advertised; it's much simpler and has stickers applied directly. - The manual is a general one for various Orient movements, not for this watch, unlike the original manual you can download from the website. - Despite knowing that these watches are now assembled in Thailand, I was surprised to find NO reference to Japan (JAPAN MOVEMENT, for example).

I love it, date, time, month and year. You can get any better.

Love the watch..except for the calendar text size..too small for old tired eyes or if you are far sighted..usable if you have time to focus...otherwise,nice mechanical watch

Aunque parezca un tópico, es mucho más bonito (y luce más) puesto que en fotos. Muy lograda la combinación de dorado y verde. El calendario, permanente hasta dentro de 20 años, ya es una declaración de intenciones de que está hecho para durar. Espero llevarlo a mantenimiento dentro de 20 años y que me puedan cambiar la rueda del calendario para otros 20 años. Los números son pequeños, pero se ven. 50 bar de resistencia al agua… suficiente. No pienso meter en la playa esta pequeña joya, y menos nadar con ella. La base roscada de cristal personalmente me encanta, para poder ver algo del movimiento automático (no mucho). La corona va a presión, no es roscada (no es para nadar). El segundero se para cuando tiras dos veces para cambiarle la hora (hackeable), así se puede poner la hora exacta, al segundo. Se le puede dar cuerda a mano, y ahí se aprecia solidez. Punto débil: la cadena. Es ancha, bonita, aparente. Contrasta eslabones pulidos (brillo) y cepíllalos (mate). Fácil de quitar eslabones para regular la longitud y un micro ajuste en el cierre. ¡Pero chirría! Ya me ha pasado con otros relojes, y es cierto que con el tiempo el ruido se reduce. Supongo que la grasilla de la piel va haciendo que resbale más y se pierda el chirrido. Lo iré comprobando. Un reloj muy recomendable. Original sin estridencias, elegante sin ser demasiado serio y bonito a la vez que discreto. Un trabajo redondo.

after more then a week I didn't require to adjust the time which surprised me. I just expected that the dial is bright green, but in fact, it is very dark green, sometimes looking just like black.
