A great motivational read.I resonate, absolutely, with the needed transition from ego to the Divine plenum of cosmic consciousness to be creative in whatever art form we are involved in.I speak from my personal experience as author of four self empowering books.

Sadly just rehashed parts from his other books like the war of art and do the work. I feel a bit cheated to be honest.

This is a perfect book for creators looking for that kick in the ass that they think will get them doing the work that they love, but put on the backburner. It’s a very quick read with big ideas and an important message. The chapters — which range in size from a few sentences to a few short pages — each cover particular aspects of making commitment and doing the work. It’s a simple, important message. Not all chapters are inspirational and some could probably be edited out, but if you’re looking to “level up” as some call it, this is your call.

Another excellent, insightful, inspiring and actionable book from the brilliant Steven Pressfield. A mix of practical, grounded ideas and deep, astute insights, make this a unique and necessary book for every creative and entrepreneur to read.By the end of this book, you’ll feel motivated and inspired to go after your dreams with gusto. No more procrastination, no more excuses, only putting your ass where your heart wants to be and doing everything you can to turn your deepest dreams and desires into reality.Do yourself a favour and read this book and all of Steven’s other books like The War of Art, Turning Pro, Do the Work and more.Thank you, Steven Pressfield for your wisdom and these wonderful books—they, and you, have made a HUGE positive difference in my life. There are some things in this book that we’re very timely for some decisions I’ve been wrestling through.The advice is a great reminder for everyone trying to accomplish something. Artists, entrepreneur or otherwise.I would have given the book 5-stars but there were a lot of chapters that just didn’t need to be there. Maybe someone else will find utility in all of them. I didn’t.Over it’s a great book that everyone should read.

I appreciate this book since it pointed out how RESISTANCE is the killer when it comes to producing the work you want to create! I highly recommend this for anyone who feels stuck, stalled or fearful of their drive to succeed.
