Shampoo Cap

Was skeptical about these products but there are times when due to physical disabilities I cannot wash my own hair and more often I also have issues washing my hair for mental health reasons so needed something more substantial than dry shampoo for those inbetween times when I need to have clean hair but for other reasons can’t. I purchased a single one first to test it out and was extremely happy with it took minutes felt even less, hair was thoroughly saturated without being dripping it also felt clean and soft immediately and it does clean as I had hair colourant powder in the front and got2be glued products (spray and glue) throughout my hair and it removed all the residue and debris from my hair. Not only are these fantastic for physical disability but for those mental health days, weeks, months were even basic hygiene is huge and easily put off these make the job quick and effortless so now I won’t have the added anxiety of feeling ‘unclean’ on those days when mentally things are not good to begin with these help make a bigger job a much smaller insignificant and allows for a quicker dry time too as it’s not soaking wet. These are also amazing for anyone who has sensitivity issues as in touch sensitivity like the feeling of water when bathing these would help massively . I’ve not subscribed to the five pack every 6 weeks to have a stock pile for when I need them and highly recommend to anyone with those ‘mental health’ times to help stay on top of hygiene

This is a fantastic item. For anyone bed bound, or with mobility issues or in hospital this is a great substitute for a traditional hair wash. I got it for my mum who recently suffered a stroke. The product worked a treat and was a pleasant experience for her leaving her feeling much more like herself with clean and styled hair. Thoroughly recommend.

Super convenient. I was initially wary this would clean my hair properly but bought one to try . My hair was greasy and now it’s soft and clean . It was not overly wet so it ran down but wet enough to satiate my hair . Didn’t warm it , just massaged on my head for about 5 minutes and it warmed up . I have thin hair so if you have thick hair , might need to use for longer . Bit pricey £5 for one but I will try and find better value pack . The scent is mild and not overwhelming and didn’t notice any stickiness !

At present I am unable to wash my hair. I was recommend Fresh wipes shampoo cap. It was very easy to use, I heated it up in the microwave and it was a good size. I have very long hair below my waist. I massaged and left on for about 4 minutes. My hair felt clean. But due to the length of my hair without the use of a condition it was very knotting after massaging ( used a leave in condition afterwards). This would be absolutely perfect for short hair or even bob length. I would still use again but I would have to use a leave in condition. No leaks from the cap and it is very well made.

I have been caring for a relative during terminal palliative illness at home and used these caps to shampoo her her when she became too weak to manage into the shower. They were easy to use, caused no distress and made her hair quite soft and manageable. It's not the perfect solution but in my experience it made my relative look better and feel better in herself which was important to her and to family and I thank the home carer who recommended them to me. They smell nice and after brushing there was no residue.

The idea is great but it was very difficult to use with long hair. I found it didn't work well with my oily hair so ended up having to wash it anyway. If you have short and normal/dry hair it's a good product.

We've recently discovered the FreshWipes wipe, and found them really useful, so thought we'd try this as well. My daughter's autistic with a lot of sensory issues. The noise and feeling of being bombarded by water in the shower is too overwhelming for her, so we have a lot of difficulties with keeping her hair clean. I wasn't sure how well the cap would work because she has very long hair and I was concerned that without a dedicated conditioner we'd end up with a tangly mess that would stress her even more. It worked very well though. She wasn't keen on the look of it at first, but she was ok to have it on her hear and spent a few minutes rubbing her head to clean her hair. Her hair was wet at the end, not saturated to the point of dripping everywhere, but wet enough that it was clean! The hairbrush passed through her hair very easily too. We'll definitely be ordering more, and in bulk too to bring the cost down.

These are brilliant. I was desperate to wash my hair but couldn't due to being in hospital. It was a total success. I have shirt hair so couldn't comment whether ut would work on long hair as the hair might tangle on massage. I would buy again for sure. Smells lovely and fresh! Mrs.Kath .. Northedge
