Decibel Meter Review: Wanted to check decibel ranges for various things in the house for noise cancellation. It's kind of incredible just how much sound is in a quiet room due to ambient noise. I'll see how it does once I get a chance to see how much sound deadening I need, but I think this will work for my needs. Review: It would be good if you could isolate certain sounds to measure decibles.

Beware, the calibration devices are significantly more expensive and thus why this product is on the cheaper side. Not very accurate without calibration.
