Supet Cat Harness and Leash Escape Proof for Walking, Adjustable for Large and Small Kittens Dogs

1: My model, Mango. is a 20 lb domestic short hair, ~23 inches long and 20+ inches around. He's not so much fat as he is large. I have tried at least 5 different harnesses, all of which made him look like an adult in a child-sized life jacket. He's rather calm, and I've rarely had to worry about escaping, so I can't give a reliable rating on how Houdini-proof it is. 2. Buckle size: Harnesses this size will typically have clunky buckles, typically aligning more for dogs than cats. This harness has a proportional buckle, and its position doesn't impede movement. 3. Adjustable straps: Mango is about 22-23 in at his belly, so I assumed this would be cutting it close. Fortunately, he fits comfortably (with extra room! I couldn't believe I had to TIGHTEN the harness after I loosened it completely for our first try-on.) The straps are pretty smooth, like a silky material, and easy to adjust. 4. First use: Mango got used to the harness quickly. Putting the front over his head was a bit weird for him, but I imagine he'll adapt. He laid down for a minute and then walked right up to the door with the promise of a treat. He was able to be softly tugged for direction, and even tugged me off one of my feet when he got startled by the neighbor's bike. There seems to be slight discomfort when unbuckling, but that's about it. UPDATE: Houdini act occurs when pulled from the front, dude just wiggles out and it pops over the head like a hoodie. Otherwise best option for a chill cat

Bought for our indoor cat that wants to go outside . I was a little worried that it might be too small, but had more adjustability than needed for a custom fit. Our cat did figure out how to get it off by retrenching his neck and head into his chest, so if you want to avoid that, adjust the straps to be more snug.

This seemed to be very sturdy and well-made. It fit my chubby cat, and she didn't lay down and howl as she has done with others. I returned it because there is no easy access at the neck. It IS very adjustable, but there is no snapping catch. You have to make the neck big enough to go over their head and ears, then make it small enough again to prevent escape. While it's on the cat. This could be improved by adding, in addition to the sizing sliders at the neck, a snapping catch. This will work for you if you have a very tolerant cat. The queen of the world needs a different neck mechanism.

perfect fit for my long cat. harnesses are usually really uncomfortable for her because the distance from the neck loop to the chest loop is too short. I liked that this one has an adjustable back. it's the first harness my cat doesn't try to back out of. it's also the first one she hasn't been able to wiggle out of. I did replace the leash with a much longer one.

I have bought my kitty lots of different harnesses and leashes. I have been trying to get her out of the house more and be able to take her on walks and explore nature. This is the first harness my kitty wears that doesn’t bother her. Usually with other harness, she would feel uncomfortable and would just lay down flat and not even walk with those other harness on. But with this one, she started walking around the house like it was nothing! That is absolutely amazing to me! One thing I did notice about this product is that I got my kitty a medium (since she got spayed she gained some weight xs and s didnt fit her anymore) and the medium she can still wiggle in, meaning it fits her just a little too big but I tested it and the harness doesn’t fall off of her or anything like that. My suggestion is if you get your cat this harness and lets say she gains a little weight, this harness will give you the flexibility to make it bigger for your cat so you dont have to buy a bigger one later on. I absolutely love this! 10/10

I’m not sure I’m going to leash train my Cats as i had experiences with my prior little one. She was violent when it was time to come back in ( every time) But she was a unique animated soul, so you’ll probably be fine. I think everyone should own one. If there is an emergency or even for taking to the Vet in a carrier. Gives extra control and security / freedom. I ordered the girly one for my light Siamese and the darker plaid for my gorgeous Tortie. They fit nice, are soft and are high quality. I tried them on both the little victims and they will work fine when needed or wanted.

Would’ve gotten 5 stars if even the neck collar bit had a clasp/buckle. Otherwise my cat hadn’t once tried to take it off, he seems very comfy in it. 👌🏽

cats can actually free themselves from it if they go backward ... no matter how strong you closed it. And cats don't like to have the line above them, they prefer on the side ... But for the price, it is still ok, therefore 3
