I've been wanting to snag one of these hot shoe phone holders for a while now, but there are always so many options. This is the first one I went with and I am impressed. It holds very well in landscape as well as portrait mode, it pivots, turns and really is overall a great product.

Good quality really strong

Works pretty well but it doesn’t hold level. I placed my tripod on a perfectly level floor and installed this. My phone camera is showing it’s a hair off level. You can’t make micro adjustments with this mount so I had to adjust the legs on my tripod to get the perfect frame. It screws onto my tripod very easily and tights nicely. It does rotate but for me I don’t need that being my tripod does that for me. I will point out, if you place your phone in vertically to record and want to plug anything into the phone, you have to place the phone high in the mount making it less stable and more prone to shaking. There just not a lot of room at the bottom of the mount for usb connections. Overall this will do what I need it to do but it’s got its drawbacks so for that I can’t give this 5 stars

A way cheaper alternative to the RayBan Meta Glasses for photographers. It fits perfectly on my Canon R50 and is super easy to install. You could use it to record behind the scenes, have poses up for yourself or your model. I love it, picasso.

I cannot for the life of me get the knob to twist and I bought this specifically to mount it into my shoe mount. Super disappointed. This product is not as advertised. If you are a photographer looking to use this on your hot or cold shoe, it will NOT work! Don't waste your time and money. The company needs to redesign this product so the knob twists. There are some older videos on here of the knob twisting but there are tons of recent reviews that the knob does NOT twist. It's like glued solid to the shoe mount piece.

I use this on a camcorder that I converted to a solid state from digital tape to hold the new controlling solid state system works gray.Everything fits nice.I wish it had a way to tighten the swivel but other than that, it's perfect

So, I received this mount today. I had originally intended to use my phone as a monitor for my camera, and I bought this so that I could also have a cold shoe on either side: one for my light and one for my mic. Hone I revived this, the first thing I noticed was the build quality. It was a bit more flimsy and cheap than I had expected. However, the size was fairly compact. The grip that holds you phone isn't a stretch tight, you have to manually press a button for it to clamp your phone, and often times it can be a bit light, and there is a small possibility that your phone can fall out. most times when you use your phone as an external montitor you use it horizontally. When you flip the mount, however, it become vertical, which only allows you to use one cold shoe! Just a minor gripe. However, I feel like the mount could be slightly cheaper for the value for money and the minor flaws. However, this is great if you are mainly doing vertical content!
