Hurray for Mommies
Gave this to my daughter who was feeling a little under-appreciated by her two year old, and currently obsessed with his Daddy. I love this book. The depictions on the inside are so sweet and quite particular to motherhood. Kudos to the male author on that. My kids (and I) loved it years ago, so bought it for a friend's baby. Beautiful pictures and text.

Comfort book for little ones
I bought this book for my grandson when he visits overnight. He LOVES it. I believe that he is very comforted by the book. Its simple, but the message is direct, and the illustrations are quite sweet. Grandson's parents work at night or are in school and clearly he'd rather be with them, but this book is a reminder that even though he's with Grandma, his Mommy and Daddy love him lots.

I like it but liked the I LOVE MY DADDY bok by same author better. The illustrations are different animals as compared to a singular main character book for Daddies.
