I’ve tried a few of the cat water fountains that are available on Amazon, and this is by far my favorite one for many reasons. I love that it’s wireless because it expands your options of places to put it in your house and you don’t have to worry about clutter, and the battery seems to last for a really long time. The fountain is very easy to take apart, which makes it super easy to clean. The filter and pump are simple parts that are quick and easy to clean/replace which isn’t really the case for a lot of other fountains on Amazon. I also love that instead of running continuously it only runs water when necessary, either via the timer or the sensor, and it leaves a full bowl of water for your pet at all times. It’s very very quiet, and its smaller size is a plus for me as well.

I would like to give this both a 5 star and a 1 star. 5 star for the fountain itself. it works great, my blind cat loves it, it is quiet and easy to clean. my 1 star comes from the fact the filter holder is the old style but "original" filter replacements I ordered at the same time were the upgrade style without a notch so the filters won't work, they do not seat flush with holder and thereby the bowl will not seat properly to the basin. pic of the different filters. update: after 5 1/2 months it is no longer quiet, the pump is much louder now. still pumps just not as quiet.

Just got this and am impressed by the simplicity and quietness. I can see the water level easily, it was a piece of cake to assemble, and my cat drank out of it right away. The fountain has almost no sound. This won't win any fashion contests, so if that is important to you, you might need to spruce it up yourself or look elsewhere, otherwise I can't think of anything that could make this better.

The fountain works well overall, but there are a few caveats. My cat prefers drinking directly from a visible water stream, but this fountain’s stream is hidden. She still drinks from it, but it might not be as satisfying for her. The automation mostly works fine, though during the first week, the fountain turned off twice unexpectedly despite being fully charged. Since then, it’s been reliable. Battery seems to last a good while. I clean my fountains every second refills (about two weeks) and I had no issue of the battery dying during that time. Cleaning is fairly easy, but I’m unsure about the pump—there doesn’t seem to be a proper way to clean inside it, so buildup could be a concern. Also, the replacement filters are more expensive than those for my other fountain. Plus, the design changed recently, so aftermarket filters won’t fit without modifying the filter cavity by cutting a small plastic tab. A small tip regarding all fountains. If you're having a hard time removing that sleek film that builds ups over time, Bar Keepers Friend does a great job removing it. Just make sure to wash it again using dish soap.

Edited review: 4 months into using the fountain the pump stopped working on the “Sensor Mode”, but I contacted customer support through their website (not through Amazon) and their customer service was incredible! They are sending me a new replacement pump free of charge, and I don’t even have to send back the broken one! I sent them a video via email demonstrating that the pump wasn’t working, and they said they will be sending me a replacement pump ASAP! We are very happy with this pump, and with their customer service! 😸 Original review: Best cat fountain I’ve ever had! My cat used to have one of those fountains where the water drops from up higher, but he would consistently drink it from the fountain part and it would make him choke. I bought this one because the water spout is hidden in a spot where he can’t drink directly from the flowing water, and now he doesn’t choke anymore! It keeps their water clean and it’s easy to wash when needed. I use it plugged in 24/7, so I don’t know how good the battery life itself is, but I have not had any issues with it staying plugged in. It even came with a long cord! Just don’t come with the plug outlet. I highly recommend this fountain for your cat or dog!

I have tried several pet fountains and I have to say this one has been amazing at troubleshooting issues I’ve had with others. It’s super easy to set up, no instructions even needed. There are minimal parts which is going to make it easy to clean. I love that the fill line has measurements so you can actually monitor how much your pet is drinking. It has a wide filter that catches any pet dander that falls in the dish. The motion sensor works fantastic. It turns on as soon as they approach and off after they leave so it will definitely save on power to not constantly have to run. It is completely silent! Lastly the appearance is very sleek and simple and matches my home style perfectly. My cats were immediately interested and starting using it as soon as I plugged it in!

I have both the 'uahpet Official Water Fountain Filter' bundle (on the left), and the 1 gallon 'Amazon Basics Gravity Pet Water Dispenser for Cat, Dog' (on the right). My cats have different preferences. I prefer both systems, one with bells and whistles, the other for when I'm unable to charge electric things. I refill both once a week, and thoroughly clean them once a month. No mold in either. They work perfectly.
