Food portion scoop came in today in a very secure package. The scoop is quite hefty and looks durable. It is easy to use, made of shiny metal that has a smooth finish. The handle is weighty, not flimsy. I am very pleased with this item, and I recommend this scoop.

If ya like big cookies…YES!
This scoop is awesome! I weigh my cookies and these, more often than not, give me a 4oz raw dough cookie. Love it!

Poor quality, doesn’t hold up!
This scoop is cheap or poorly made. The thumb press bent on first use, the scoop constantly gets stuck and doesn’t release. Wasted money!

Scoop better than most
There are so many options for scoops but they are not all made the same. I bake daily for a cafe and this scoop has by far been the best quality for repeated use. It has a comfortable handle as well as a quality release lever.

False description and wasted my money. This scoop actually measures only 1/4 cup (4 tbsp), not the described 5.5 tbsp (1/3 cup scoop). This utensil was nearly $21 so to be falsely advertised like this with no convenient way to return the item or get your money back, is really, really bad.
