Like many Star Tech products, these are handy little tech gadgets that I might not have known were made if I hadn't stumbled on them. In most cases, there are probably other makers of whatever-it-is besides Star Tech, but I have been pleased with their price/quality balance and now tend to select them first. It has always annoyed me that our nice expensive computer server racks' power distribution panels assume way too many servers with the expected PDU type power cables, and thus have way too many of those and only a couple of regular (I forget the codes) power outlets. I used to use regular power strips but that was messy and I was always just one or two outlets short. So these are the perfect solution.

We had a computer cart at my workplace that we needed to change the gender on. This fit the bill and worked great!

Just 12 inches (30.4 cm) long, perfect for that situation where your computer plug almost reaches an outlet. Good quality, no instructions needed. It's great at parties. Put in on a coffee table as an ice breaker or a conversation piece. Chicks dig it. Ask for it by name... tell 'em Romsk sent 'cha.

I guess I can’t complain too much because it stated how long it is in the title but unless the cord you’re connecting is a lot longer, the cord is pretty much useless. It gets the job done but is way to short for me.

Works 100% as intended! I use this to convert a standard NEMA 5-15 plug into an iec c14 plug to let me use a standard iec cable to power my pedal board. It works great and I would definitely buy this again for another project!
