Very very very good light. Has an app you can control and add presets on, the timing function is super convenient. Super easy to install, plenty of power and sits in a green tent with high humidity so seems pretty water resistant. Love how sleek it looks and the color tbh, worth it!!

works good and is powerful havent had a chance to turn it up past 75% (judging by what the leafs are trying to tell me ). have about a years worth on run time on it

I have 4 of the G7000. They are light weight which make install simple. The app benefits so you don't need a bunch of timer plugs to control the lights. They produce very low heat compared to other lights I've used. I did have an issue with the power source but the spider Farmers customer service team honored the warranty rapidly. They are very helpful and respectful.

Started out my grow with a 1000 watt light, (not mentioning make because it's irrelevant), and I was getting big time deficiencies. So I bought a Spider Farmer G8600 and it changed everything. My other light has adjustments at 25%, 50%, 75%, and 100% adjustments. That's it. And that's a pain because in order to dial your light in, you have to raise it a little more, or a little less, to get the ppfd you're shooting for. With this Spider Farmer G8600, you can put your light at 18" or 24" and turn the intensity up from 0-100% and everything in between. Need to go from 125 ppfd to 150 ppfd, just turn the knob21, 22, 23, 37, 42, whatever intensity it needs, without having to move plants to try climb in behind the light inside the tent, to raise the whole light up. My deficiencies cleared up, and everything went nice, thanks to the completely adjustable intensity on this great light. Thanks again Spider Farmer!

Only getting four stars because I had some diodes go out. Not giving less because they sent me a new one and it should be here tomorrow and they didn't require me to return the old one.

Gets very bright , but doesn't run hot. Great coverage. It could have come with an easier way to hang it. Since the pulley system that comes with it is the only downside, but easily remedied, I implemented my own cables to hang the light. With a 5-year warranty, this makes it the best light for the price. I will see how long it lasts. I am happy with the light for veg; it is perfect. I don't write a lot of reviews, but when a product impresses me, I do. Dollar for dollar, I couldn't find a better value light.

I had to disconnect some of the light bars until I can figure out what to do about all the excess heat in there. I’m using a 4 x 4 tent. Still using 6 light bars at 50% and disconnected 4 light bars. Oops on my part

Having used 2x SF1000 lights for the last few years I did my homework and decided to upgrade my kit. I purchased this unit from Amazon Warehouse so it didn't come in its original box as it had been assembled and returned, I'm all about getting a good deal so this wasn't an issue. The light itself is great as expected, fully dimmable and perfect for my 1x1x2m tent - rigged at the beginning of 12/12 and very good quality harvest. My only issue is with the detachable driver - this feature was one of the main reasons for choosing this model so I could mount it outside of the tent to help control the inside temperature. Unfortunately the cable isn't long enough to allow for much height adjustment with the driver outside which is frustrating. I did reach out to Spider Farmer to enquire about an extension for it and got a very prompt and warm reply from the customer service team, however they do not manufacture an extension cable - hence the 4 star review. Apart from this issue I'm very happy with my purchase and would definitely recommend.
