Well Made Vertical Mouse
I have been using J-Tech digital mice for several years. I literally use each until it wears out. I've found they consistently offer me relief from carpal tunnel pain and the newer ones with LEDs look super cool. The one thing that bothered me about this purchase is that I had a lot of difficulty telling the difference between models. I was actually expecting the wired version, which I also think is/was slightly bigger? I am, however, happy with the wireless version I received. It fits my hand just fine, works perfectly, points accurately, has a long battery life, can be used while plugged into the USB in case you forget to charge it, and basically is a very well-made mouse. Considering the last mouse I had I bought about 7 years ago, I'd also say these are an excellent value for the money. I actually thought it was worn out after using it daily for years and got a replacement. My husband then took the original one apart, noted how well it was designed, and was able to remove a little accumulation of grime to make it functional again. So it's now my backup. I cannot recommend these highly enough. Silent, plenty of buttons, beautiful lights and last for eons.

Great mouse for people who experience pain or discomfort while using a mouse
This mouse has been a game changer for me. I thought the learning curve for using this mouse was going to big, but it was so easy to connect and use. I love the look and feel of this mouse, the texture is smooth and it feels good in my hand. When i have to use a standard mouse, i can really tell a difference in the way my write feels. I recently injured my wrist and it is painful to work at my computer (which is my main pathway for work) and having this ergonomic mouse has relieved the pain and discomfort that comes with using a mouse all day long. I thought the cost was fair and comparable to other brands and mouse of similar types. I recommend this mouse to anyone looking for an easy to use, simple to operate ergonomic mouse.

Update: “Does not” Causes computer issues
I had an issue with this mouse after it had been working well for a while. I am updating this review because the first one I left was negative because I thought the issue was the mouse itself. After investigating more, I realize that one of the scroll buttons had been compressed so hard it was stuck. This made the mouse act weird, and the computer freeze up. After I unstuck that button, the mouse works fine.

Stopped functioning in less than a week
I don’t normally leave reviews, but I’ve also never had this experience with a product before. I recently got diagnosed with carpel tunnel, so I’ve been doing everything I can to help relieve the stress/pain in my wrist, hand and arm. I got this mouse last Wednesday, didn’t get a chance to use it till Thursday. Once I plugged the USB receiver into my work computer, everything worked fine. Wasn’t sure what the charge time was like, so I charged it during lunch to be safe, then left it charging at my desk over night. Friday was much the same, but I decided not to leave it charging over the weekend out of fear of wearing the battery down. I come back to work today (Tuesday 01/21) and the mouse is functionally dead. It was left “off” before the weekend, but even if I left it on, I tried charging the mouse for 3-4 hours with zero effect. The light comes on indicating a charge, but it goes away after 10-ish seconds. Then I turn the switch to “on” and I get a dull red glow which disappears in the same fashion and stop no response. Tried everything I could think of, different cable, order of operations between plugging in the receiver with the power switch on/off. I really wanted to like this product, as it did help alleviate the stress in my wrist when I used it. Maybe this is just a faulty example of an otherwise decent product, but less than a week?? Needless to say, I’m very unhappy. Maybe look elsewhere for a decent ergonomic mouse.

3 Years Later: The Ultimate Wrist-Saver for Long Work Days
Design & Feel I purchased this J-Tech ergonomic mouse in 2023 for my home office, and it has made long workdays much more comfortable. The unique "joystick" design keeps your hand in an upright position, significantly reducing pressure on your wrist compared to a traditional flat mouse. The matte black finish has a premium feel that doesn’t get slippery or shiny over time. I also love the customizable setup; magnets attach the palm rest, so it’s easy to remove if you prefer a smaller footprint. Connectivity & Compatibility The connectivity is seamless. I opted for the wireless version to keep my desk clutter-free. It uses a small USB dongle that stays in my laptop, and the compatibility was instant—it functioned immediately upon being "introduced" to my computer. A huge bonus is that it’s rechargeable and comes with its own cable, providing much better value for money than constantly buying disposable batteries. Ease of Use & Performance The buttons are perfectly placed on the sides, and the smooth transition of RGB colors adds a nice aesthetic touch to the desk. I especially appreciate the power-saving feature where the lights shut off during inactivity. It’s a highly functional piece of tech that has remained reliable for three years and counting! *Note: if you ever want to go and remove the USB dongle from the computer, it was a bit tough on my laptop because it is small!
