Using this for SSD cache in Synology NAS. Works Great.

Having a cash for the nas speed it up.
The only thing to keep in mind is that you cant just use one as a nas cash, you need two. I bought this because the first nvme didnt fit in my nas then in order for it to work as a read write cash i had to make the first one fit by making a custom mount.

PSA the 525 NVMe (1tb) is Double-sided
I didn't see anywhere that the 1tb Ironwolf 525 was double-sided, so if your slot can't accommodate a drive with nand packages on the back side then this isn't the drive for you. Otherwise seems like a great drive.
