Listen, I honestly did hours of research on toilet paper (of all things) when I realized my store-bought paper, including many recycled, "all-natural", bamboo, etc etc papers I tried, was causing irritation in certain areas, if you know what I mean. I can't remember now exactly how I decided on this one--mostly reviews, probably, as well as the paper's specs--but I'm super happy I did (as are those certain areas). The rolls are a little smaller than standard paper rolls, but the paper is tightly/densely wound on heavy-duty paperboard tubes (perfect for kids' imaginative play once the paper's used up, btw). The box that arrives is heavy, like I never imagined any box this size that just holds toilet paper could ever be. I happen to love that the paper is tan, not only because it indicates it hasn't been bleached but also it just looks cool. And let me describe the paper itself: you do not need a lot to do the job. It's textured, kind of waffle-y, with a sturdy feel, but the texture itself is soft--NOT at all "scratchy." It is both sturdy and very absorbent to use, but once it's in water (i.e., dropped in the toilet), it begins to thin and even disintegrate a little. It's kind of amazing. The rolls look small, but because they're so dense and less is needed with each use, one box of 24 actually lasts much longer than I expected. In fact, one roll lasts longer than a typical fat roll of fluffy, lint-producing TP like Charmin (ick) and much longer than 7th Generation's wimpy rolls. Oh, and the packaging: there is not a bit of plastic anywhere, and the rolls are NOT individually wrapped like many other brands--what a waste of paper (and time to unwrap) that is. Needless to say, I highly recommend this toilet paper. Your "certain areas" will thank you. ;-)

Bought a few times but it's a bit pricey and the lead times are a little long for me. Found a similar product locally available. Turns out TP can be toxic, and the area in question is quite absorbent. Was happy with the product and the box they come in is quality and useful in and of itself.

It's about time I wrote a review for this product. I think I've ordered this the times now. This brand is way worth the $. It feels great to wipe with, and as a woman I take great comfort in knowing that I'm wiping my most sensitive areas with something I can trust, that won't throw my body out of balance. It doesn't flake light regular toilet paper does, but it's still gentle. Did I mention, it doesn't put off tp DUST like all other tp does! You know how when a ray of light shines into your bathroom and you luck some to from the roll and see dust EVERYWHERE? You will never get that with this product, making it a much healthier alternative if you care about indoor air quality. The cardboard rolls in the center are much thicker, stronger, and more durable than others and so they have many more uses than standard ones do (if you are a reuser, like me). They make great seed starters, as other comments have mentioned. We never have problems with flushing this toilet paper and these rolls last FOREVER. I probably only buy 2-3 boxes a year for a two person household, making it extremely affordable for me, especially because the sheets are so strong and absorbent, so you need WAY less to get a thorough wipe. All in all, I'm afraid to try any other brand now that I've discovered this Holy Grail of a product. I was doing the subscription but had to cancel my most recent delivery because we still had 1-2 months worth left, but I will be setting up my subscription again soon! I hope they never change a thing about this product. It's safe, effective, affordable for the longetivity and value you get from a box, and environmentally sustainable. As consumers we need to start being more serious about what brands we use and support with our dollar, and I'm thankful I can feel so good with this purchase. If you are thinking "I want to try it, but I can't justify spending that much on some toilet paper," I recommend you immediately give it a go. You will SAVE money in the long run from using this (it goes that FAR) and you will help save the environment as a bonus. 100/10 product, best thing I've ever bought off Amazon and that's saying something!

So thankful for this product - even though I can't find it locally and have to suffer the cost to have it imported and delivered to Canada. I developed an extreme sensitivity to the chemicals often used in manufacturing toilet paper- suffered a lot of angst, and wasted a lot of money trying other 'hypoallergenic brands', including other brands of unbleached bamboo toilet paper. There is no authority that regulates what may be sold as 'hypoallergenic',nor are we privy to the chemical ingredients they use (why is that?). I'm leaving this review as real information that may help other extremely sensitive types because this is the only safe brand I've found. It may not be the softest paper you will ever use, but keep in mind, those plush papers are made that way through the use of chemicals. This product is perfectly pleasant and comfortable to use and I'm grateful to the company that makes it, and especially for their ethic.

This TP doesn't tear, flake off, leave lint or fall apart under duress. I have IBS, and this TP is totally up to the task even if the clean-up is, shall we say, "more challenging". Also, it does not leave me feeling tender down there, even when extra wiping is required. You really do need less of this TP! I bought one box (24 rolls) and it lasted more than 2 months with regular use by myself and my partner and the occasional family/guests. I work from home, and my partner works from home at least 1/2 time, so we probably use a bit more TP than people who work outside the home full-time. The rolls are much denser than a usual "double" roll. It lasts about twice as long as our previous TP. After doing the math, this TP is about the same price as the old "cheaper" TP we were using once we looked at usage and cost per square (which is three layers, so again, you need less per wipe). I've even had friends ask what kind of TP we use, because they "loved it!" I did a lot of research before I switched brands and this company had the best balance between a good price and a product that met my needs. I really like that they use ZERO plastic (not even tape on the box), and they don't waste packaging with individual wrapping or an extra outer box for shipping. The box they ship in is good quality too, so it was in great shape when it arrived. The TP is not individually wrapped, but don't worry, the TP is well secured to itself on the roll. The rolls have always stayed closed until we were ready to use them. I'm very happy with the environmental steps being taken by this company. Honestly after using this TP, and loving the quality, I'd buy it anyway, but I have been making a conscious effort to ensure that my recurring and necessary purchases are as environmentally friendly as possible (they say it's the little things that really add up, right)? One consideration to people with kids - if you really can't restrict their TP usage, maybe consider getting this for the master bathroom only. I could see kids using too much because they're used to having to use more of the other brands. Our kids are grown, so that's not an issue for us, but from my experience, most kids don't seem to care how much the TP costs, no matter what we say.
