Works great, make sure you note the wire connections on the old one for ease of installation.

Centrifugal switch rusted away on the inside in less than a year. Purchased in June of 2023. Motor not sealed from the elements at all. Do not recommend. Stay away!

Found this item to replace existing lift motor damaged by water in hurricane. Item is sturdy, built well and looks to be well thought out. Installed easily and look forward to a long term Review.

The OEM motors that came on my Deco lift had deteriorated due to salt water corrosion of the steel motor cases. So these stainless motors are a great option that I hope will last even longer. One important thing to note is that this is a completely covered motor such that internal motor components will not be exposed to the air. The open grill at the back of the motor has a plastic fan, but the motor itself is closed on both ends by aluminum frames with the stainless case in between. I did not note any other components or hardware that wasn't stainless or aluminum, so it should be robust against corrosion as a lift motor should be.

These motors get water inside . I have bought 9 of these motors and 4 of them have failed due to water getting inside . Sent one back for warranty and there customer service told me when it dried out the motor was fine . LOL . These motors may look like shiny stainless on the outside but the switches on the inside are steel . Once the water gets in they will rust and corrode .

We ordered 2 of these motors. They were delivered separately. Upon trying to install, we found they were not the correct size we needed, so both were returned.
