These are the perfect patio accessory you need. They work great, are quiet, and definitely keep the bugs away from food. The assembly was easy, just pull up until you hear the clicks for all three tiers. Once they are fully pulled up, there is no way to bring them back down. I wish there was because that would help with storage when not in use. They are tall when fully opened so it’s not easy to put in a small shelf or small cabinet.

Does the job by keeping the flies away

We have a large family and we love to get together outside to grill and barbecue during the summer. However, the one thing we had not been able to find a cure for was flies. And in the Texas summer flies are everywhere. These little fans are exceptional! They make little to no noise, they are inconspicuous, they are fun and they keep the flies away from the food! I also love that if one of the kids touches it it doesn't hurt or cut. We bought a bunch and we put one between every two to four people and they work perfectly. Great value and after years of trying all kinds of ways to keep flies away from our food, it was nice to find a method that actually worked!

FYI: I just got these this morning, so I haven’t had a chance to really try them out against flies.. I bought these, first because they were highly rated and second because I thought that they would be easy to store/pack for my upcoming camping trip due to their telescoping ability. I was wrong. Once you raise the fan to height and “lock it in” they do not retract back down. I repeat, they will not go back to being a small/packable/easily storable size. I’m writing this in the hopes that someone else will not be misled by the same assumptions I had. That said, I’m hopeful the fan itself will still work well and help keep the flies away—but I’m definitely disappointed in the design.

Fly trap works as described and no more flies!

I don't know how these work so well at keeping flies away, but they do. Several people in our camping club have them and after seeing them in action, we decided we needed them, too. The day they arrived we were being bothered by flies while eating at the patio table. We'll keep one at home and the others in the trailer.

This works pretty good. Although it’s says they collapse for storage. They don’t. Collapse at all. Once you put it up for use. It stay like that. I’ve tried I feel like it’s going to break. Or is there a certain way I need to do. Can someone please share how were you able to collapse this fly fan so I can store them nearly. Thank you all. Im
