Such a good fit that I forgot it was even there.
A 10/10 steam deck case. I've owned previous cases from Spigen, and I enjoy the quality of their products. So I'll give a personal story first, then highlight some details of the product. When I was looking through my products to review something, I had a brief moment of confusion when I saw two Spigen Steam Deck products in my Amazon history. Did I really buy two of their products for the same device? Was one of them a mistaken duplicate order? I had plenty of opinions about the Spigen carrying case for the steam deck. I spent a lot of time thinking about it, because it has some noticeable flaws. So why did I buy two products? I had the travel case, and what was the other one? Oh! The case on my steam deck! The case was soon good that I forgot it was even there. It's just doing it's job to keep my deck safe, without any annoyances or problems. I get to enjoy my games and the case stays out of the way. If that's not a amazing review of this case, I don't know what is. You're reading reviews of an all black case for an all black device because you want something subtle, not because you want to coat your steam deck in hundreds of bright stickers. If you want something that keeps your steam deck safe without drawing attention, then this is the right case for you. From the front, the case is almost invisible. Just some subtle edges where the plastic wraps up to hold the edges of the steam deck. If you haven't seen one before, you might not realize the case is on it. From the back, there's a simple logo, cutouts for the buttons and air vents, and a carbon fiber accent. The plastic has a matte texture. That's probably the biggest giveaway that it's not part of the original steam deck design. Overall, I'm very happy with this case. It's not something I'll buy again because it should last the lifespan of my steam deck. I've washed previous Spigen cases with soap and water and they were fine. So I expect this one to last as long as I need it. With another quality case, I'm just going to buy a Spigen case for the next new device I get.

Spigen Rugged Armor Protective Case for Steam Deck - Reliable Protection with a Sleek Design
Hey folks, I recently got my hands on the Spigen Rugged Armor Protective Case designed for the Steam Deck, and let me tell you, it’s a solid choice for keeping your Steam Deck safe and looking cool! First off, this case does a great job of protecting your Steam Deck from all the usual bumps and scratches it might encounter during everyday use. It’s made of tough TPU material with reinforced corners, so you can trust that your precious gaming device is well shielded. No need to worry about minor drops or accidental rough handling. The fit is spot on, hugging the Steam Deck snugly without getting in the way of any ports or buttons. You can easily access everything you need, and the case doesn’t interfere with your gaming experience. Spigen really nailed the design here, making it super user-friendly. Speaking of design, this case adds a touch of style to your Steam Deck. It’s got a sleek and slim profile that doesn’t bulk up your device, so it feels comfortable to hold during those epic gaming marathons. The matte finish not only looks classy but also keeps fingerprints at bay, so your case stays looking fresh. Now, here’s a cool feature - the textured surface. It gives you a better grip, so you won’t have to worry about any accidental slips during intense gaming sessions. Plus, the raised edges around the display give some extra protection against scratches and scuffs when you lay your Steam Deck down. Installing this case is a breeze, my friends. It’s a simple snap-on affair that won’t have you tearing your hair out. You’ll have your Steam Deck all dressed up and ready to go in no time. It’s perfect for those of us who just want to get straight to the gaming action. I do want to mention that if you’re looking for the ultimate heavy-duty case that can handle extreme conditions or if you need something waterproof, this might not be the best fit for you. But for everyday protection with a touch of style, the Spigen Rugged Armor Case does the job well. In conclusion, the Spigen Rugged Armor Protective Case for the Steam Deck is a tough and stylish companion for your gaming adventures. It offers reliable protection, a sleek design, and a user-friendly experience. Keep your Steam Deck safe and rock that cool look with this case! Works very well.
The case works very well. Just make sure if you have an SD card in to take it out before remove the case or in will snap in half. Other than that great case I’ve actually dropped my steam deck twice and it’s completely saved it. Comes with a sling that is a bit tricky to loop through the first time but works well and is very durable and comfortable. Also fits inside of Valves Steam deck case perfectly.

Fits well good quality
This fits seamless to the steam deck. All fittings and cutouts are precise and well designed. Love the lanyard so I don’t drop my SD by accident. It doesn’t add a lot of weight to the overall SD handheld experience and it’s perfect seamless black can’t even tell it’s in a case. I love the low profile presentation. Would buy again. It’s decent protection. If you’re really concerned then you want a heavier duty protective solution like dbrand or jaus. For normal use this is excellent and cost effective for normal wear and tear and the lanyard is a nice added feature. Definitely recommend.

Solid case for the Steam Deck.
After using my Steam Deck for a week, I noticed the "handles" on the sides are just slick enough you can drop it if you don't have a good grip. It's also hard to hold with one hand due to this slick exterior, so I always have to put it down when I go to drink something or use a remote. I needed a case for extra grip and a little bit of drop protection. After doing some searching, it looked like my best choices for a case were either TPU or silicone cases. I dislike silicone cases (they feel cheap and collect dust) so TPU it is. Out of the available TPU cases, there are several cheaper cases, and on the expensive side is the Dbrand Killswitch. The Killswitch didn't appeal to me and some of the other TPU cases look cheap, which drove me to the this Spigen case. I've used 3 Spigen cases on phones over the years and they've never let me down. Their TPU holds up for years, has a understated, professional look, and a solid "premium" feel compared to many competing cases. I'm glad to say this case follows in that tradition. It fits the Steam Deck very well and doesn't cover the back buttons like some cases. There are cutouts for the power button, volume buttons, USB-C port, back buttons, micro SD card port and vents. It lends extra grip to the Deck so I can actually hold it with one hand briefly. It's a little tough to remove, but that's a good thing as it maintains a tight hold. The top can be a little loose, but so far hasn't become an issue. Weight: Steam deck weighs ~24oz, and the case weighs 4.3oz. the case adds 18% more weight (without the safety strap) but it's well worth it in my opinion.

Spigen is the ONLY brand I'd trust for protecting my Steam Deck!
I've been using Spigen's cases for quite a while, for pretty much most of the phones I've ever used and they've never let me down - and that continues on with this case for the Steam Deck! It's got some fantastic construction, it adds a nice grip to the Deck, but doesn't add a lot of weight to it (I'd say it even "equalizes" the weight distribution - though the Deck's natural weight distribution is not off by much by any means). It also has near perfect cut outs for the I/O ports and buttons - haven't had any issues "finding" them when say, pressing the power button, or going to plug in the charger. I was also glad to see that my USB hub that I got plugs in perfectly fine still, since the case gives plenty of clearance for the charger port especially (I'd bet the official Dock cable still works perfectly fine too, I just don't have one to test out). In general, this case does a great job of seeming like it'll protect my Deck should something unfortunate happen, and it also helps my hands not cramp up when playing handheld. It even still fits in the Deck's included carrying case as well which was very nice to see. I'd heavily recommend Spigen's Steam Deck case, and really if you enjoy it, you should have a look at Spigen's other cases such as for your phone as they will not disappoint. I've been rocking my Spigen Pixel 6A case since I got the phone and it still looks absolutely perfect - same type of material that feels excellent in the hands. I almost wish I had more things that needed cases so that I could get a Spigen case for more things (yes I know that sounds a bit over the top, but I love Spigen)!

Perfectly suited little product
I bought this primarily for the wrist strap. While I love the handle and the elastic that comes on the standard Steam Deck carrying case, I was concerned that I might drop the actual console itself while taking it out to use on public transit. The last thing I wanted was to drop it on the floor of my train and have it go skittering across the car. Luckily, this product was the perfect solution. I can loop the strap around my wrist and adjust the tightness before even removing my Steam Deck from the case. It also has the bonus function of alleviating my worry of someone snatching it out of my hands at a stop. I don’t think it would stop someone who was super determined, but I don’t think someone trying to take advantage of a quick moment at a station is going to succeed. The plastic has the perfect soft texture and feels solid without compromising the great grip feel the Deck already has. Part of me wishes it hooked onto the front more, maybe for some added security, but that just illustrates how little it actually interferes with the front of the Deck. It also still totally fits in the carrying case, though I did have to remove some thumb covers that were a bit too thick in order to close it completely. Great little product, highly recommend. Would 100% purchase another one if they came in cute colors or patterns.
