If you have an application where you can easily deliver 12VDC to this device, like a wall outlet close by to plug a 12VDC power adaptor into, it's one of the best remote really modules out there. My only gripe, is that they don't make them in a 120VAC version, so I can use them where I don't have the luxury of having a 120VAC wall outlet nearby. The relays' contacts (they have 2 relays!) can switch 120VAC, but the relays' coils are rated for 12VDC. And, these modules have excellent range. I have these on all 3 of my garage door openers and on my front gate opener. I've been using them for around 5 years now, and in all that time, I've only had one failure, and even that didn't really bother me, as each of these modules contains two relays, which gives them a very wide range of possible functions, even DC motor reversing, as either relay can be set for latching, or momentary, switching. In my applications, I only use one of the 2 relays, so I was able to simply move the wires to the terminals for the 2nd relay, and I was back in business. My gate is about 1/2 a block from the nearest side street. I can be a half block from turning onto my street from that side street, and the receiver will get my signal, even from that far away. When I come around the corner, my gate is already open! That's a good 1/8 mile, or more. Also, should you lose a remote, any of the 433Mhz units, including ones with a slide down cover (to prevent accidental activation), that can be purchased right here on Amazon, can be paired with these relay receivers. Unfortunately, the maker doesn't offer any remote fobs with slide down covers. But, pairing theirs, or an aftermarket unit, is fairly straight forward, and for a product from China, the instructions better written than most! Also, they're responsive to emails requesting support. But, I first made contact with them through my orders page at Amazon. But, Amazon has now seen fit to place a virtual assistant between you and their sellers ( ¡¡¡WHICH I FIND USELESS - Boooo!!! ), so it may be difficult to obtain their email address now. If you can find a way to get past the Amazon virtual assistant, once you've contacted them through Amazon, when they respond, you'll have their email address, which is how I got it. I highly recommend these remote relay receivers and remote transmitters!!

My garage door opener was refusing to hold a code for some reason, so my remotes needed to be reprogrammed basically daily. Instead of doing that, or spending a ton of money replacing an otherwise perfectly fine opener, I wired my manual button to this. So much better than spending a ton on a new one.

Didn’t work on a 6VDC CIRCUIT.

works awesome. I used for a garage door that had the remote circuit go out. I wired it to the button inside the garage and it works fine. not the best range. sometimes i have to hold the remote up by my windshield for it to work.

Easy to install - good directions - works at a good distance but depends on line of sight. In my case 4 buttons on the remote control was a problem to decide what button to push in the dark. I glued a small round piece of leather (cut with a hole punch) on the correct button. Problem solved

I have a number of the equivalent 12v operating modules all over the house and yard. I’m building a 20 button remote to seamlessly control lights and multiple audio sources that use the QIACHIP protocol. Finding these that work on 115v ac opens up new possibilities for me. I’m designing a bridge to control Insteon products that operate in the house. One of these two channel relays set to momentary mode driving an Insteon Micro-switch module will do it. The Micro-switch is not attached to a load, but can be set as a Command to activate other switches in the network. Just plug into a wall socket and setup using an ISY994. Nice solution.

Device operated and performed as expected. Installation was simple. This replaced a faulty receiver board on a garage door opener.
