Our workplace requires badging in and out for entry into any door in the building. Basically, my badge holder gets quite a workout. I bought this lanyard, which comes with an ID holder and a retractable reel to replace my cheap work issued lanyard, which fell apart after the ID holder plastic started to crack at the bottom, causing the ID to fall out - not helpful when we are concerned about security access. I am on year number two with my CarryLuxe Lanyard. It came in a set of two, but I have only used one. I really like that the plastic is better quality than my last holder. It is lightweight, pliable and hasn't developed cracks, even when I leave it in my car during the summer heat and winter cold. The neck strap is lengthy and comfortable to wear, not tight or itchy. The best feature about this lanyard set is the retractable wheel, which lets me extend my badge to keypads that I'd otherwise have to bend down or perform other awkward movements in front of co-workers to reach. Although I only carry my badge in my ID holder, the holder is generous enough in size that you could carry your driver's license and a credit card. Many of my coworkers use this lanyard set and keep their remote computer access codes in the holder for convenient VPN access. I gave the second lanyard to a co-worker since it appears I won't be needing it anytime in the next few years! Great buy for what I need at work.

I have used this product for only a week, but so far it meets my needs with its sturdy cloth, retractable neck support, and equally sturdy plastic badge holder. It seems a great value. I recommend this product. If anything changes, I will revise this review.

Super easy to use

These were perfect for my husband and I to use for our trip to Universal Studios. We constantly had to scan tickets, use the dining cards, and show driver licenses (especially at airport). The clasp seals close with two fingers and keeps whatever is inside dry from water. The string that hangs around your neck is soft and has not bothered me at all to wear it all day in the Florida heat. I also had plenty of room to put multiple cards in it. The retractable string made it easy to hand to people but not have to take it off or get a wallet out. I highly recommend this inexpensive item, as it was so helpful to have for our trip.

Your id card will fit, but I used it for my sea pass on my cruise. You can wear it around your next, but I took it off the lanyard and either clipped it to my clothing, bathing suit or put in it a bag I was carrying for dinner. I love that it’s retractable. (Comes as a set of two)

I purchased these ID lanyards to protect my work credentials. I received one lanyard which had rusted on the metal pieces (picture attached), however the other was okay. Overall it is a great lanyard and I appreciate its retractable feature. The lanyard itself feels study when you are wearing it, without being as bulky as other competitors. Likewise the plastic ID protector is sealed and feels strong. Overall I am rating it 3 stars out of 5 just for the price point and the fact that it works as intended – minus the rust.
